We all feel bad that you have to make a decision on which of your Porsches to drive on a pretty day. Live is hard. :)

It is amazing how today it suddenly looks like winter. It is cold, wet and grey the leaves are falling in mass and it is a good day to stay indoors.

41 here. Had to break down and mow the lawn.

Jim, it was an absolutely beautiful day down here in So Maryland, went for about a 60 mile drive, up to the Virginia Bridge, up the Crane Hwy, stopped off at a few Thrift Shops along the way and bought some Christmas decorations and lights, and a second hand sewing machine, yeah yeah yeah. now I don;t have to try to sew jeans and stuff by hand, that was pi55ing me off just a bit.

Beautiful drive, back along the old Leonardtown country roads.

D, I am sure they will be hugely expensive, but I am really looking forward to seeing some beautiful work. They like me do all the quilting by hand, I am not interested in the quilts that have been done on machine, the point of quilting is to do it by hand, that's my thoughts anyway.

And here I always thought the point of a quilt was to keep warm.

well yes it is, but to me it is about the love that goes into the making of something to keep loved ones warm.

I have made many quilts for friends and loved ones for weddings etc, and I love that they have something for life that they can snuggle up to, and reminds them of the love that went into making it for them.

Anyone know how to either convert or edit mov files to something windows can use.

Flieger 11-11-2012 05:07 PM

I think if you have Quicktime Pro.

Porsche-poor 11-11-2012 05:12 PM

Which probably only runs on a mac.

Porsche-poor 11-11-2012 05:16 PM

I bought an oly ls-20m for recording the band. It is supposed to do mp3 files but the manual is crap and the button sequence is not right. Quick time will play them but i need to edit.

Flieger 11-11-2012 05:22 PM

I bought Quicktime Pro (and run it on my 4 year old HP laptop with Vista) in order to edit the videos I take with my Nikon camera (.MOV files).

Porsche-poor 11-11-2012 05:30 PM

On it thanks. Ill go look up the cost.

Flieger 11-11-2012 05:38 PM

Any of you guys know when US Top Gear is on? Slodave's autocross videos on facebook got me to thinking.

Outback Porsche 11-11-2012 05:38 PM

Evening

I use MediaImpression. It came with my Pentax camera, but I think you can download it for free.

slodave 11-11-2012 05:41 PM

Why not Windows Movie Maker?
