A few more hours painting tomorrow will do it. May be able to fit in an afternoon of sailing later this week. All work and no play makes Jim an extra dull boy. Can't let that happen. :D

Since I went to 11 schools in 12 years I had a few periods of total culture shock.

In 1971 we moved from Hawaii to Montgomery Alabama. The change in local culture was extreme to say the least.

The first day of school in Montgomery ended with a pep rally in the school auditorium. One of the popular chants or cheers was "Wump wump, side the head, whump em upside the head".

Really!

I am guessing with today's culture of PC it is not used much anymore in school.

Then, we meet with our kitchen contractor and after that finish painting the eaves (not to be confused with the eaves of our Dutch hip roof).
