Starting to gander at boxsters. Thinking of picking one up over the winter. Shooting for '97-99 non s so I can build it to BSX and evbtually BSR race spec...

Curious what te boxster guys think of this car? Porsche Boxster. I don't live it being a 97, but the miles are ok and the IMS being done is a plus. I'm thinking its worth 7500-8000. What about y'all?

livi 07-20-2013 11:50 PM

Morning lads!

I would love a Boxster and I would also go for a very early iteration.

I'd love a boxster, but don't have the room in my wallet right now.... And still have the company car so no need for one either.

I'd prefer the 987 over a 986 and purely down to aesthetics. (green)You've been drinking shandys, and that's a girls drink, so you may as well get your arse into a girls car. (end green)

Well, the yard is officially Palm Tree free. Dropped the big one today.

Also finished cleaning the carpets in the rest of the house.

I'm knacked, and ready to go back to work for a holiday.

Long live the king!

G'day G.

Long live the King!

(green) It's good to be king. ;)

Jim Richards 07-21-2013 02:50 AM

Congrats on the new King. Congrats on becoming palm-free, Jeff. And from reading all this Boxster talk, I'm wondering if I wandered onto a hairdresser's forum. ;) :D

Laying back ang watching the British Open. It looks like a nice day in Pommigolia today.

Outback Porsche 07-21-2013 03:15 AM

My eyes keep closing. I think I'm going to give in to it. Y'all have a fun day, night.

Rick V 07-21-2013 03:50 AM

Morning Y'all
Sid I drive a 97 every day and have had very few issues with it. 150 on the clock and I still flog the crap out of it. Don't buy the hype, and that 2.5 sounds awesome
