I think he was supposed to say hold my beer and watch this first.
I think it should be a requirement for us to have a camera running at all times
um...NOT!!!!
Awe man, no more burning man. I always wanted to go to that
this the last year? did it say why they are calling it quits?
They reported it on the news that it was the last one, it was becoming too main stream
can't have that....

It's gonna be a pontoon based airboat (already have pontoons) with dual rudders on a v tail mix so I can use elevator control as an air brake as well as a raised horizontal stab with a single aileron so I can create rear end lift for grass travel of drag to help it get on plane.... I'm expecting it to get up to 40-45mph on water.....probably top around 20 on land |
always count the fingers before and after starting the engine.
Or at least leave equal number of fingers on each side of the hover craft so it will track straight.
trim it with style!

And the total is 8 lacerations......ranging from 2-3 cm in length....
that doesn't sound like fun, joe.
none particularly deep, but the whole side of my hand is sore as hell and i suspect it'll be bruised up pretty good tomorrow

I bet joe won't get his finger near that prop again! ;) Sometimes it takes a bite to teach you respect. I don't get any body parts I care about near the action of my Browning A5 after I got bit by it as it chambered a round!
Been out playing with my truck and enjoying the cool air... Off to order some new tires now. With the lipo batteries I've effectively turned the old ones into slicks.... ;) |
Way on back in the day, I was instructing some guys on PMCS for the Ma Duece......One guy decided to get ahead of me and cracked the receiver halves open before closing the bolt...lost the tip of his thumb....
I'm used to working with 9 inch props.....I decided to go with an 11 inch on this one....that extra inch radius is what got me. The prop seems to have not taken any damage though and the 11x7.5 was putting out some serious thrust even at half throttle I'm going to use the aircraft pontoons because they're designed for grass or water....keep the lower spacers and struts and build a frame just above that....motor mounted in a puller position towards the rear....not really worth it to go to a pusher position.....it'd take a $70 exhaust to redirect the exhaust properly and clear the prop and since I'm ground up building the rig, I can accommodate the orientation. |
Time for bed for us. Good night folks.
