A CZ ran you out of cash?!

;)

Geronimo '74 07-20-2013 10:35 AM

Not a CZ, it's a Weirauch hw97k stainless. Airspoon, 0.177 cal.
The ring cost me a tad more as you might imagine. :)

I thought he was kidding you that the ring was so big it must be cubic zirconia. ;)

that sucks.

pete3799 07-20-2013 12:42 PM

Lawn mowed ( lower part down by the garage) driveway graded, (washed out the other day), hauled off 3 cars and misc. steel (brake rotors, drums, couple of busted wheels, 3 old truck radiators etc.) to the scrap yard yesterday. Just over $1K may have to take the better half out to supper.

porsche4life 07-20-2013 12:42 PM

What? You don't mow in the rain?

Rick V 07-20-2013 12:43 PM

Picked up a hundred rounds of 12ga and 90 clay pidgins for next weekend. Those numbers are hopefully optimistic since I plan on reusing most of the clays I shoot at.

Flieger 07-20-2013 12:45 PM

Protip: Reusing clays that you have already hit makes you a badass (and improves your aim).

livi 07-20-2013 12:45 PM

Congratulations, G! Happy for you!

And then you went and got a gun.. You donīt have to fend off the competition anymore, ya know. :)

If you hit them right, there ain't any bits big enough to reuse.... ;)

porsche4life 07-20-2013 12:53 PM

And only 90 clays Rick? You guys planning on shooting for 10 minutes or what?

i took the beretta out yesterday to shoot clays. 50 rounds and about 40 clays literally lasted about 15 minutes. i was by myself, so that makes things go faster, but still....

i got a new choke, too. improved cylinder. it made a big difference.

When you miss a lot you get to take time chasing the ones that don't break upon ground impact

get some wide masking tape. that'll hold em together on impact with the ground. :D
