Dogfood is the only correct name for a cat, although Catapult Ammo is also acceptable, but only if put into practice.

I'm a cat person, but even if I weren't I would be able to tell that there are more "dogs" (in the modern sense) that are smaller than cats than larger. My cat isn't a Maine Coon but he's pretty big. At least twice as big as those rat dogs that are so popular now. A Maine Coon could have one for breakfast.

RKDinOKC 08-06-2013 12:46 AM

Well since my Golden is named Camber, maybe I should just name the cat Caster or Tow.

Oh I have a little kitty, who is only about ten pounds that I will put up against any dog any day.
Cats have but one reason for being and that is to kill, well and block block block hairballs.

Rick, I used to have a very sweet very smart Doberman. The neighborhood kids loved to come over and play with her in the back yard with tennis balls. I never worried about her biting a kid. She was sweet, unless you were a cat. She hated cats with a passion. Actually she loved to eat them. She killed several cats that made the mistake of coming into her back yard. I had to dispose of several cat remains.

One day I heard a big ruckus in the back yard. I went outside and she had a cat pinned to the ground and it was making bad sounds. Fortunately for the cat I told her OUT! and she let the cat go. It hobbled over the fence and was gone. It would have been dead in a few seconds.

The next day my doorbell rang. It was one of the neighbors asking if my dog was OK. I called her to me and she was happy and fine with no wounds. They said their dog killing cat came home very beat up and one of the other neighbors had seen it going into my back yard. I told them if it came in my back yard that is just too bad. The back yard is her territory. The said they understood that they were concerned about my dog because their cat had killed dogs before. I told them I saved their cat's life.

That dog killed several squirrels as well.

Agreed.....the hairy rats are not dogs. A REAL dog is an animal about **so** high that goes WOOOF!!!

One of my close friends had a Riesenschnauzer (now that is a REAL dog). It dispatched cats with no more than a few seconds attention, it was as if it thought of cats as a nuisance to be eliminated.

Can't remember how many cat carcasses we had to hide, but it was over a dozen.

Battles were over in about 10 seconds as Linda (the dogs name), was faster, stronger and unfazed by claws.

Otherwise a kind, intelligent, wonderful dog...just hated cats.

Introduced the kitten to the dog, so they get along. But when the kitten is romping and running around playing you can tell that Camber is fighting the desire to pounce and chomp. Camber has brought us at least one of every kind of animal to get in her yard, including a opossum playing possum for it's life. The skunk was NOT fun. Other dogs are only safe when they accept her as overlord of the yard.

I saw her grab one cat. She opened her mouth wide, grabbed and shook. It was done in a second. That is a dumb cat that ventured into the fenced yard of a dog. Darwin at work. Several cats loved to torture her by sitting in the tree. I had to lock her in the house until the cats went away.

We have a Jack Russell that was obviously a pet, the good health and collar are a couple of indicators, that has decided to take up residence between me and the fellow next door. I have a very very very bad feeling I just got a Jack Russell. Great little dogs but.......

porsche4life 08-06-2013 12:09 PM

Jack Russell's are really cool little cool dogs Rick. We had one and she was a sweetheart.

Rick V 08-06-2013 12:13 PM

This thing is just as sweet as can be and full of Jack Russell but it is/was obviously someones pet. I am trying to find the owner before Beth claims it. She was very upset this morning when she left for work because it was raining. I looked and it was dry as a bone under Peggy where the little spaz was.

Watching the news there was a story about sharks coming close to shore due to a number of factors and it was funny to hear people whining about not being able to go into the water. When a shark says get off my lawn you do just that,
Idiots.....

HHI944 08-06-2013 03:47 PM

Jesus......just walked out and noticed the freakin loaner car 8s missing a damn lug nut.....the last one had a light out and the tires were over inflated by 10psi

RKDinOKC 08-06-2013 04:14 PM

Well, it is Shart Week on Discovery...

Sharks probably gathering cause they saw that commercial with the seal gettin released/eatin.

Rick V 08-06-2013 04:18 PM

It just amazes me that people get ticked when sharks are in the water. Hellooooooooooooo

RKDinOKC 08-06-2013 04:28 PM

I'm told there is intelligence out there, sometimes I wonder.
