It does take a fair amount of getting the internal compass re-calibrated when we get into the Northern Hemisphere, same when we first arrived in Europe, you don't instinctively know which way is north south etc
Just look which side of trees the moss grows on, and the migratory patterns of Canadian geese.
now I know how pigeons feel when they get transported, only I can't fly in circles for an hour or so to get my bearings
Speaking of Canadian Geese, jeez I am afraid to go outside the house some days, for the fear of getting pelted with goose poo the amount of geese flying overhead
but the moss grows on the south side back home

we have some Canadian Geese who have a layover (lol) in our pond at work, they are leaving "presents" all over the carpark, which the maintenance guys are having to get out and hose down everyday
Some geese think this is Canada. Talk about confused, eh.
but Toto I don't think we're in Kansas anymore!
Have a bunch of Aussies visiting atm for a big project management review, and it is funny to hear all the accents. not that we don't have some at work anyway, but it is still strange to hear so many of us in one place. 6-0 Red Sox, woohoo |
unless we get a cold snap, they probably think they have gone far enough!!
Oz accents in America's South. Bet you'll have to resort to sign language.
Well, as Jeff would say, time to dive into the fartsack. Maņana! |
time to unload the dishwasher and go to bed.
Great play by the Red Sox runner between bases very entertaining |
