Not sure how much he weighs. He is 8 months old now and is getting the size of most all of the full growed cats we've owned.

Morning Everyone,

So I got another job offer from my past boss again. 3 times in 3 years. If I wasn't on track to becoming the future VP of Manufacturing where I am now, I would jump on it in a heart beat. I miss a lot of the fast paced R&D work at my last job working with pure alkali metals (always a lot of fun), but the risk of being unemployed again is to great with them. Currently I am a lot slower paced company but I like the 8 hours and job security.
Something to be said for stability. I saw postings for jobs with much higher salaries that the one I took, but I know the company, and I know that even if we had a few slow years, I'd still collect my paycheck. I work 8hrs a day and mostly from home. Hard to beat that gig!

I just got another call from some company that was a "data" company. I could hear lots of keyboard noise and she asked if we were in Oklahoma City. Of course I said yes. She then asked how long we had been here and I told her the truth, since 1947. More keyboard sounds and she asks if we have a web page. Of course we do. More taping on the keys and she can't find our site. I told her that she must not know how to use Google, we come up at the top of the list if you just search for...

She hung up on me.

Have worked for Kimray full time since 1981, 33 years in May. However mowed the Lawn at Kimray as contractor from 1972 thru 1979 and part time from 1979 to 1981.

They won't count any of the contractor or part-time work towards my seniority or I would have worked there for 42 years.

In the 80's when the bottom fell out of the Oil & Gas Industry instead of Laying off workers Kimray loaned workers to the city and a few local businesses and continued to pay their salaries until they had the work to bring them back.

Hmm, I haven't quite worked it out yet but there's something captivating about young women playing volleyball.

Outback Porsche 02-07-2014 03:10 PM

Cameramen working women's sport really do have the best jobs. :)

i love that kind of work. seriously. i am saving my PTO to help rick move....

i do have a good connection. however, it is downloading at about 250K/sec. my connection is good for >6GB/sec.

ah well. i am still stoked. i love the elder scrolls series. i have serious doubts that i will like the online multiplayer edition, however. that kind of thing just turns into work. just saying.

porsche4life 02-07-2014 05:58 PM

Ya, I've never cared much for online multiplayer games. It's like Parf, but with more trolls and Cheeto spit.

And ya when you help Rick move I'll have to come down there for a bit.

RKDinOKC 02-07-2014 06:15 PM

With most online games, If you don't have the bandwidth to get the app in a reasonable amount of time, you don't have the bandwidth to be competitive with other players.

That being said, I don't play many online games. More of the adventure puzzle type, like Myst, The Room, Etc.

OK Sid, that is easily the PPOT quote of the week!

RKDinOKC 02-07-2014 06:29 PM

Is Cheeto Spit a brand of Nipple Lube?

HHI944 02-07-2014 06:41 PM

With the added benefit of turning your nipples orange!!

RKDinOKC 02-07-2014 06:50 PM

Fried or Puffy

GH85Carrera 02-07-2014 06:58 PM

Cheetos spit and nipple lube.

Yep that is the definition of the Stijin thread. :)

Can you imagine what it would look like if instead of your avatar over on the left margin, you had depicted the images from the camera on your computer? [shudder]
