Ahhhh, now I know why someone put an 'R&D Dept' label on the dunny door :D
|
confined spaces...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh leme out!
Aren't committees designed to undermine the authority of whomever was in charge of the area the problem is in (Carnegie Method) and/or delay any sort of real solution until the problem goes away (Infinite Limbo Method). We had a committee decide the best solution for the computer network was Fiber Optic to each computer, yikes. I was labeled a troublemaker and told I was not a team player because I vehemently opposed that solution in favor of a fiber backbone with cat5 drops into each area. |

I have no phobias at all and I don't understand claustrophobia or agoraphobia but I know that for some people the fear is very real.
Since I worked in every sort of darkroom I guess that is a good thing I don't have it. When we were first setting up the processors at my old job they were behind several doors that were designed to be light traps. If you needed to get behind the processor to load it you had to go through the door, close it and open the next door so no light could get in. Everyone was supposed to knock when coming from light to dark so that one person coming out did not have the door open when someone from the light side opened the door and allowed light to the back. It was a simple system that worked unless someone just walked in. After standing in the dark for a while loading the processor you could see just a little from the pitiful little "safelight" but coming from the hall you were blind. I was in the dark when a guy walked in without knocking. I just waited about 45 seconds and reached over and squeezed his shoulder. He screamed like Freddy Kruger was in there. :D Then I found out it was a real challenge for him to even go into a room through three doors and stand in a room where he was blind. He could have fogged many hundreds of dollars worth of work so he was in the wrong to open the door without knocking. We did the shoulder grab to teach them to knock before opening any darkroom door. |

Now this is a different way to carve the turkey. |
Looks like that bird has been deboned except for the legs and front paws.

You all were busy chatting this weekend.
To bed at 11:00 on Friday and up at 3:30 Saturday. Didn't have to get up until 5:00 on Sunday. Weather sucked with freezing and regular rain but a good time anyway. Be back out this weekend since not much was moving. Rick, I used to surprise the young kids when I would do the same in the Ramcharger. Full time four wheel drive and would just pitch it on the on ramp, let it settle and floor it all the way out. Those poor off road tires would just howl at me. |
Evening Y'all.
Brent I had an 86 Rancharger with a built to the hilt 4mpg 360 in it and I used to lay the smack down on all manner of modern muscle. My favorites were rustangs and cameros. Well after the last month of vet bills with one kitty almost lost and another one with a kidney infection all of my Tucson money is gone. Looks like Rickie is gonna be turning fifty here in Va. freezing my rump off. Kind of depressing but I still have my kitties with me and they are healthy now. I am renaming them, the little one I am gonna call Tucson and the huge one I will call Arizona. 2.5k in a month, but well worth it. |
wow, that's a big vet bill, but they are like kids in the family, so I fully understand.

|
It was a monday, yeah nice and warm but still monday
|
hahhahaha. Well yes.
I think I fixed by Google chrome, I deleted all new programs that I have put on around 2 months ago, a few adobe things, a media converter, and voila, fingers crossed that seems to have worked. |
Ya gotta read the fine print woman

flying down to Charleston to see the Hubby on Wednesday.
He was waiting on a C17 coming in yesterday afternoon early evening, until they got a tornado warning so it was delayed. By the time it arrived and because of the Tornado warning, the power at the airfeld had been cut, no lights no loading, so the C17 should have been loaded up today, then I think he should almost be finished down there, but we are going down to spend Thanksgiving stay a few extra days then drive back, staying overnight at Nags Head on the outer banks, visit Kitty Hawk, then head home on Sunday. Hope the weather isn't too bad Wednesday afternoon, got to drive up to Reagan National and fly out, bleh |
