No complaints here. But that may change in the coming days as my wife's sister is staying with us for 4-5 days starting Thursday. Very neurotic. Nothing for me to do but tough it out.

Well if we are venting.

The dang newspaper ain't here. How hard is it to deliver a paper? Same house. Once a day. Every day. Our new carrier leaves a red card in a December paper looking for a tip. Tips are for doing your job very well, not 1/2 assed.

Newspaper? I vaguely remember those things. How quaint.

Could complain, but find it doesn't do much to help the situation even if you consider the squeaky wheel thing. If it gets too bad venting once in a while does help retain civility.

Long Days - Make the weekends that much better.

Gout - Quit eating organ meats and eat some cherries for relief. Cherries can be any kind or style. Friend managed his gout that way, when it came back and the cherries didn't help it wasn't gout it was some kind of bone spur.

SIL - Entertain yourself by making a game out of being happy and smiling all the time, look for the humor in anything that would normally get on your nerves. Everyone will think you are on drugs. Example: have a brother that believes Jesus was an extraterrestrial and that brother also has a gift for being very irritating. When he tried to get me involved in his extraterrestrial stuff told him I loved science fiction and to tell me more about it. He doesn't bother me about it at all, even when I ask about it. But if you are resistant, he won't shut up.

Used to take the newspaper...

My first golden retriever, Penny would wake me between 5:30 and 6:00 so she could go out and get the newspaper. She would start really softly just making an air rush noise instead of barking then slowly get louder and louder until I woke up. Usually opened the door to let her out just as the paper hit the end of the driveway.

A couple of times neighbors came out to get their paper while she was getting mine and she would go take theirs to them. After only a that couple of times she started her own little paper route. She would go a couple houses down the block taking their paper from the end of their drive to the front porch, then do the same for the houses across the street. She did it on her own too. Found her doing it when I noticed her taking longer to get the paper and check to see what she was doing. None of the neighbors offered to pay her though.

Still really miss that dog.

So the 10 - 55 gallon drums of pseudoephedrine are arriving? Remember that either is very flammable.

The one good thing about van parks, you always get some European chick living out of her ****box car get changed in public.

That is 100% dependent on the chick. If she looks like she has Don King in a headlock it could cause you go blind. Some of them euro-pean chicks don't shave much.
Hehe, that's why I said chick and not Heffer.

Isn't there a difference between a Heffer and a Hippy?

I had a interesting or at least different lunch time.

I went and picked up a 12 foot long open trailer with the El Camino. Drove 2 miles to a lumber yard bought two 2x12x12 boards. Drove them home and put em in the garage. Delivered the trailer back and came back to work.

That is a very nice trailer. It weighs 2,200 lbs empty and has a 6x12 open bed with a spring loaded ramp and dual axles. The two sticks of wood did not make much difference to the load. It is nice to just jo get one and need have to store it or own it. It was supposed to have trailer brakes but they must only activate when the brakes are pressed hard.

Are they electric or hydraulic brakes? The electric ones only work if you have a brake controller in your vehicle.

The trailer had a brake fluid reservoir but all I did was hook up the electrical connection. I never hit the brakes very hard.
