Well, in today's case my ire has been raised by contact with a patient's attorney.

By my count, patient has now been not-entirely-honest with me twice.

He misrepresented to me the reason why he wanted me to call his attorney.

He misrepresented the status of his hand prior to this most-recent injury.

Unless he can present evidence otherwise, one of the reasons his hand doesn't entirely work is due to a pre-existing injury, and not the one in question.

Yes people suck. I had some jack hole come in today with a laundry list of crap on his car and one of the things he wanted done was a state inspection which he failed. Matter of fact it was so easy the car practically rejected itself. Dude flies off the handle because I cut his inspection sticker off, it was still good for two weeks, I even tried to explain that the law states that is the very first thing I do, he would hear none of it. I interrupted his behavior as one who would take his car somewhere else, so I issued the appropriate rejection sticker, glues it to his windshield (with extra glue) and put the car outside. He royally flipped out and called the state police on me. That was at least fun as the trooper told him his options for the situation and his attitude, one of which were handcuffs. I think we lost a customer.....

My wife has pitiful hand strength. She can't open a jar or bottle without help. I have to do that for her. She is not real short but she can't reach up very high. I have to fetch stuff from the top shelf all the time for her. She says that is why she keeps me around. That and to dig the holes in the garden for her and take out the trash.

LOL. Yeah, that "should only rise in value" statement might take awhile to materialize.

However, looking at that BaT site, I had a nice chat with a buddy at TRE yesterday, and he's making it mighty tempting to go out and buy a Miata as a street-legal track car. He suggested perusing Racing Junk...

They are mighty potent little cars. Todd made me hurl with his over the summer... Heat exhaustion helped him though...
