Yep, morning again and it is an extra early Monday.

Right now my home computer is not just a super killer email machine but it does my Quickbooks real fast!

In the end I want it as a screamer only for a new software package in the digital mapping world. It is a Paradigm shift for us. Only the basics of mapping remain and the software is all new. I will need to learn it and how to make it really work. I don't want to sit around waiting on my computer to churn out the simple test projects.

Well, after some research I figured I really needed this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IKDETOC/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This should power my computer and no silly jumper connectors.

No, I would like to but it would be a solo trip for me since Mrs. Carrera would be bored with that event.

Parade is getting silly expensive now and can't see spending the money for Rennsport.

The event itself isn't bad $80 for the 3 day pass. Its the hotel and getting there that will be $$$.

And the meals.

Expensive to fly and even more to drive.

Yup! And bring the wife. Thuy and the boys are coming, and Alaricks wife and kids are coming. I'm sure the women won't be at the track much.

Glen, just curious as to which brand/model power supply you have. Some cheat and say 650w but they share power over a common rail for the different voltages so what you get really isn't 650w.

Long weekend. had Friday off and today our main distribution switch went bad. Again. I know the first one got flooded and that is understandable, but the second one is weird. It is on a line level UPS and fiber between the buildings. Anyway, a new one is programmed and in.

I ordered a new power supply. Almost universally everyone said don't use the molex converters.

850 watts should cover it.

They make some pretty good product and they generally fair well in the tests at Anandtech or Tom's Hardware.

Way better than some idiots in a fraternity at OU. Good riddance dumb asses.

I really see no use for any fraternity or sorority. They are just a party place.

Yup! The weather was beautiful. My wife worked 3rd shift last night so she slept most of the day whilst I worked on the 911 wheels. After supper my daughter and I took a walk around the block.
