So, I went home from work yesterday in sunny skys with a good forcast, and thought "finally, I can spray all the weeds around the property". I mixed up the Roundup, and sprayed all the nooks and crannies , around the trees, and along the fences, and mailbox. I'm sitting there eating supper 2 hours later, listening to the torrential downpour going on outside, washing all the weed killer away......I am so ready for SUMMER.

Have some of the original Roundup from the early 70's. Think it is agricultural grade instead of home & garden grade. Gotta be really stingy mixing it up. Sprayed the cracks in my sidewalk leading up to the house. Rained 2 days later. Even though I mixed it much less strength than it says to, 1/4 teaspoon for 2 gallons of water, it killed a 1 foot circle down to dirt out into the yard at the end of each crack. Ended up putting a flower pot on each dead spot so it kinda looked like it was supposed to be like that. It's a good thing stuff will eventually start growing there again.

Usually Roundup all the cracks in the sidewalk, driveway and most of the street in front of my house twice a year. Can hardly tell any of the gallon of undiluted Roundup is missing.

After your encrypted conversation...Are you sure there is not some PART of those shared excel documents that they didn't password protect? You know you can password protect just one cell and not the whole worksheet right?

Looks like enough people are losing their company cell phones that there are now transfer policies.
If you want to keep the phone you get $55 to transfer the phone and number by taking over the contract.
Haven't heard if my communications are deemed cell phone worthy or not

I've had a company cell phone for 25 years.
Originally had a cell phone in my car (the small ones were expensive and I didn't have to keep it charged) and a pager.
If you needed me page me and I would call you back. Never answered the cell because you had to pay for all calls and if it was important you could page me.
Had it so Mom could get in touch if she needed help with my brother with MS.
One Saturday while I was out flying R/C my brother I work for tried to get me on my cell so I could help him with his computer
He got angry because I didn't answer my cell phone. Told him it was mine and for my convenience and not his and all he had to do was page me.
The next Monday my phone account had been switched to a company account and my car cell replaced with an expensive new much smaller cell phone.

My pager was a watch pager. Kinda liked not having to cart a phone around. My iPhone is small, but not as small as not having to carry one.

Wonder if I could use an Apple Watch like that?

Fortunately for y'all, I only posted a summary of the call. This was after two conversations about not having the blue button and a call afterwards saying she doesn't have the blue button after she just used the blue button. I was remoted in watching her and had to show her the blue button was still there. Some is automatically done if it has HIPPA, banking or personally identifiable (DL#, BATF ETC) information.

She now would like a notification that it was encrypted. But she sent it already so any change I make will nt be retroactive to all former emails. I don't drink (usually) but if I were a regular I would need a cab by now.

I guess I need one of those high end units that sends someone in a tux and white gloves to tell them the email has been successfully encrypted and delivered.

I like to use stuff that works, not what is expensive just because it is expensive. If it is cheap and reliable I am all for it.

Well, looked at the Apple Watch's actual functionality. Since the speaker and mic are not very good about all I would use the watch for is caller ID and see if new emails were important without having to take my phone out of my pocket. Just don't get enough calls or emails for it to be a real issue.

Have a friend with his phone setup so if you call and miss him it sends a text to you telling you that you called him. Very annoying.

I couldn't sleep last night for some reason so I got up and let the dog out and figured to watch the ret of a Neil Peart interview. Nooooooo, the fine folks at MS thought it would be the perfect time to upgrade to Windows 10. I don't recall clicking the "do it now" button.

I stayed up until 1:30 and finally just let it do it's thing.

It doesn't appear too different.

Is it?

BTW- I haven't worn a watch in many years. I found that the time is almost always available from somewhere, usually my phone.

I have worn a watch since high school days. It is a cheap Casio Toughman. that sets itself every night. It has a ton of features I rarely use but I can twist my wrist and see the time and the date. It is funny, I almost never look at the time on my phone. I tried to not wear a watch and found myself wasting a lot of time grabbing my phone, waking it up and seeing the time. I guess now I could just say "Hey Siri, what time is it?" and she would tell me. It is still faster to just rotate my wrist.

Good over the hump day. On the downhill slide towards the weekend!

That is my biggest complaint about Win 10. IT puts so much bloat ware on the system. It acts like every computer is a laptop or tablet computer. Not one of my desktops has a camera or a microphone and yet it wants to put skype, phone apps, contacts, camera apps, and even X-Box! WTF. If you Google how to remove them you can get rid of much of it except Cortina and Edge.

Our big boy bad ass computer is 22 inches tall, 22 inched deep, and 10 inches wide. It has 12 fans, two full size video cards, 8 hard drives, one i7CPU with 12 cores and 128 gig of RAM. It is not real "portable" and weighs a ton. Win 10 set it up like a laptop.
