So, would it be considered camping in a bear enclosure if you fell asleep at the nudy bar?

Porsche-poor 05-26-2016 11:46 AM

nah just dangerous

RKDinOKC 05-26-2016 12:22 PM

one could go with if you could pitch a 16X32 mess tent you probably would not be at the nudie bar to pick up a date......

My wife was working in the garden today and heard a voice say "moooom". She looked up and the lab was there. The lab must be hanging around the kids too much. She doesn't bark much but she mutters a lot.

From most of the dogs I've seen and heard that are very vocal, most tend to imitate the sounds you make. That's how I've gotten my goldens to talk and tell me what they need. My first golden is the one that taught me this. Her best communication was that she would bark at me to let me know she wanted something, then I would go thru my list of things like water, outside, hungy, etc. She would bark when I mentioned the one she wanted, , but it sounded exactly like "yesss." Then one day I was working at my computer and she came up and barked. I was pretty involved in what I was doing and just turned to her and said, "What do you want?" She actually replied, "I want out." Was so surprised I had to stop what I was doing and go let her out.

My last golden, Camber had quite a lot of english she used. My Mom's speech therapist even agreed that she was talking after hearing her. Made the comment if dogs could move their lips she would be speaking perfect english. She even brought her kids to hear her. Camber's first word was "Roll over." Was training her one day and noticed when I told her to roll over, she said roll over back to me instead of doing it. So I praised her. Then I said, "Can you roll over?" and instead of saying it back, she rolled over.

Was visiting my nephew and their pit bull was at the back door whining. They told me she whines like that all the time when she wants out. I told them they need to listen a little more carefully because instead of just whining the dog was saying "I want out, open the door." I was really surprised it was so close and they didn't hear it.

So a friend showed me this ad/prank. I told him I had a hard time believing people would think it is real since the plane of focus would be the same as the wall. He said it wouldn't make any difference since they were focused on the interviewer anyway. Maybe. I think all the 3D stuff looks so fake I have a hard time watching it so maybe it is just me.

The video.

Our lab is vocal for a lot of things but doesn't bark much. The bagel is very vocal including barking a lot even though he has a bark collar. The collar freaked out the guy bringing the new pressure tank. He was backing in and of course the bagel barked once then yelped and the guy thought he ran the dog over. He jumped out and saw he was fine and asked if he had a collar.

That trainer I left Pepper with when I went took a vacation trained her against barking and I have had a heck of time trying re-training the un-training. When I got her back she would go thru the motions of speaking and talking like she used to, but doesn't make any sound. When I went to pick her up the trainer held out a treat and Pepper mouthed "I want it" but no sound. The trainer made the comment, "I don't know what she thinks she's doing there." Figured I was in trouble when I heard that trainer say that. When Pepper does that, if it's quiet and you listen very carefully she is very quietly whispering what you asked her to say.

Ready for an 8 hour nap.

Mowed our lawn, the widow's lawn, and started getting the pool ready to open.

That is just a advertisement, almost as realistic as 99% of the ads out there. Any person that can't tell a TV from a window is an complete idiot and should not get hired for any job.

Good FRIDAY morning. :D

Jim Richards 05-27-2016 05:28 AM

Yawn. Why am I awake?

Porsche-poor 05-27-2016 06:04 AM
