Oh Haha 01-10-2017 03:00 PM

Yeah, the non stick works but you have to reapply it often.

High winds here tonight. I took the garbage container out to the road around 5 and the wind was crazy. I'm glad the temps are going to be above freezing for a couple of days.

More good news from my colonoscopy: the polyp they removed was not cancerous.

Hank can stand on his hind legs and put his fronts on our counters now. Oh boy.

I use my laptop on our island and as I was typing this post he just popped his head up like "what are you doing up there, it looks interesting."

Jeff, WFT?

I got an infected area on the side of my thumbnail and it was just a little pimple looking thing that hurt like hell. I just lanced it with a pin and infection oozed out and the pain went away. It was almost orgasmic in the relief. Before I lanced it I could not get my hand in my pocket because just a little touch was painful. It was not even remotely as big as that monster on your thumb. You might want so se a doctor for that think. Be ready to kill a little alien monster that comes bursting out. At least it is not on your stomach!.

^^^Paronychia. That's what you had, Glen.

Oh Haha 01-11-2017 05:21 AM

EWWWWWWWW

No offense Jeff.

flipper35 01-11-2017 05:23 AM

Jeff, make sure you take video when you lance it.

It sure was sensitive. Just blowing on it hurt. Instant relief when lanced.

Porsche-poor 01-11-2017 06:16 AM

morning all.

Make sure you send the doc a co-pay now that you have been seen.....

Porsche-poor 01-11-2017 08:30 AM

Wow just read the online paper from my home town. They have 37" of snow on the ground more coming and the snow pack is 126% of normal. Boy am I glad I am here.

GH85Carrera 01-11-2017 09:51 AM

Right now we are under a "winter storm watch" and it is 71 degrees and partly cloudy outside! WTF?

Starting Friday morning early an ice storm is arriving. Oh joy.

flipper35 01-11-2017 09:52 AM

We have little snow compared to normal this time of year. This is from last night.

Brent some of my family in Bend would kill for a view like that now......

My cousin posted FB pictures of drifts almost to her roof.

flipper35 01-11-2017 10:16 AM

Like we had a couple years ago? Not quite roof high here in the background, but the other side was worse. It took two hours for the V plow to get from the neighbors 1/4 mile behind where I took the pic to our house. I don't envy your relatives, we were snowbound over two days. When they finally cleared the snow the road was like a tunnel. I had pictures of the road from the other end but can't find them.

We're at most 60F, and we had a fair amount of rain this morning. More expected tomorrow. That means we're sending snow your way, Glen & Richard. Enjoy!
