I don't like apple pie, but I don't go on about it to other people that like it but some people seem incredulous that some people have tastes and opinions different than their own.

more of a cherry pie fan myself but I'm sure that today that will tick someone off to no end.

Chocolate icebox pie, with oreo crust, chocolate chips, chocolate fudge pudding, whipped cream and shaved chocolate. Maybe with some chocolate syrup.

Porsche-poor 01-30-2017 09:58 AM

yum that does sound good but I'll have to pass as that's just way to much sugar for me.

RKDinOKC 01-30-2017 10:04 AM

Just a thin slice to finish off a holiday meal.

Porsche-poor 01-30-2017 10:05 AM

still I would have to pass. I have been told to cut as much sugar out of else.

Way too much chocolate for me. Though I do like a chocolate banana malt, I am not big into chocolate unless it is a wrapper for something like a Snickers bar or Whachamacallit bar.

That cherry pie however...

I am not a big candy or chocolate fan. Back when I was single I bet I went years with no chocolate candy except maybe a chocolate chip cookie on rare occasions or some cake. I know I went decades with no ice cream. It was not on my radar. Now a bag of Doritos, back off those are mine.

flipper35 01-30-2017 12:12 PM

Chocolate chip cookies are better with out the chocolate chips.

I love ice cream or salty snacks like chips, popcorn, Cheetos and so one. Not big into cake unless it has buttercream frosting or similar, but then the cake is just a place for the frosting so you might as well put the frosting on the ice cream and be done.

Oh, nuts do not go in a dessert and I absolutely will not eat canned peas.

RKDinOKC 01-30-2017 12:47 PM

Just because I like chocolate don't mean I eat it that often.

When I was little I preferred my Mom's homemade chocolate cake in a bowl with some milk on it like cereal.
Smoosh it all up and eat it with a spoon.
Peferred that to ice cream.

My MIL makes up a large bag of Chex-mix every Christmas. That stuff calls to me. I would eat bowls of that long before something sweet.

RKDinOKC 01-30-2017 01:12 PM

My SIL used to make chex mix, and peanut brittle every Christmas. Now she just make chocolate iced rice krispy squares.

I buy chex mix snaks and the grocery store every once in a while. It don't last very long.

Porsche-poor 01-30-2017 01:13 PM

my wife and her family make something they call nuts and bolts from various breakfast foods. When is it cooked it smells up the whole house. I can't stand it.

Porsche-poor 01-30-2017 01:22 PM

peanut brittle Now that we make and they tell tales about it!!!!!

Hey Glen, Fast and Loud is building up an El Camino on tonight's episode.

Oh Haha 01-30-2017 05:46 PM

My wife makes "Puppy Chow" at Christmas. Basically, it's Chex mix but with chocolate/pb flavoring. It's addictive.

I am recording it. I feel sure without seeing the show they will lower it and put huge 20 inch wheel or something stupid.

RKDinOKC 01-30-2017 08:29 PM

Gas Monkies like to make air bag low riders with bigger rim sleds out of everything. Unless they try to make some kind of track car.

I thought Arron left Gas Monkey?

I like period correct rally wheels on those Caminos
