I am sure you all remember the one that has problems with policies and procedures. Well, six weeks later they have still not filled out a requisition form properly. I told their supervisor I would help out but not do the work for them. So far, so not very good at all.

Whadya say Richard or anyone else? David, I am sure they would love to do a weeks worth in WA state!

Called another cleaners and they said when stuff shrinks like that is because it was over dried. Thinks they can fix them if I bring the by and they re-wash then dry them properly. I can take another pair for them to compare. They will also repair any buttons etc, says those suspender buttons come loose all the time and they just fixem and their customer's never know.

Since I currently only have two pair of fancy pant's, I will be fancy pantsless!

You have two pair of fancy pants? Wow, pure extravagance. I just have one pair, and I wear them for the PCA Christmas party once a year and for the occasional funeral or wedding.

I do have some "nice" JEANS that I only wear for dressy occasions. I have a ton of old worn out shorts and t-shirts for yard work. I have a silly amount of t-shirts the Oklahoma Blood Institute gave me for donating blood. After 5 gallons of blood and one shirt per pint they stack up. I also do have a varied collection of t-shirts from various Porsche club events.

Also have a couple of fancy shirts. They have collar stays. They are every day fancy and not tuxedo fancy, they still have cuff buttons.

Same ol same ol.

Jim ran off on another vacation. I am not sure a retired person needs a vacation, but he took one anyway. I guess since he is paying for it that is allowed.

Almost fall time here, I guess spring is around the corner for you.

You can get clothing with our company logo on it.
You will be fired if caught wearing it at a strip club or someplace like it.

Do you think anyone that cares enough to turn you in would be at one of those places, let alone admit to being at one of those places by telling someone they saw you there wearing the company logo?

There is also a rule in the company rule books that you can't sleep on the toilet in the bathroom. They made that rule because someone did, fell off, and broke their arm.

There was also a guy that was climbing up on top of the stacks of parts baskets in the warehouse where he couldn't be seen and sleeping. He got caught because climbing down one day he caught his wedding ring on a basket, fell, and lost his finger.

A night supervisor noticed one guy had low production. Watched him and found he was going up on the roof. He had a cot and sleeping bag up there.

Also remember there were a couple of guys that were taking turns clocking each other in and out and staying at home.

there always has to be one or two people who ruin it for the rest.

We did something sim. in a college history class. On day one he handed out a seating chart and had you fill in your name. He used that a the master for the rest of the term. Any blank spot was compared to the master and marked absent. It didn't take long to figure out any name could be used to fill in a spot, say Darth Vader. Then is was only a small leap to filling in the blanks for friends who were absent.

When working the the machine shop had a supervisor stand, arms crossed, and watch me for over an hour one night. Had a 4 minute machining cycle time between changing parts. The last operation was tapping a huge hole and the machine would make a loud clunk reversing to back the tap out. Put the part in and started it, then sat in a chair leaned back on two legs and went to sleep. When the machine made the reversing clunk I popped up and got the next part and was ready to swap part when the machine stopped. Leaning back was more comfortable AND more importantly kept me from falling asleep so deep the clunk wouldn't wake me up. After over an hour the supervisor just shook his head in disgust and walked off.
