The pirates are easier to deal with.

It's the 3.5l v6 so it's no speed demon, but it's not bad.

Had a CayenneS, lost my night vision and needed cornering lights. To get them had to go Cayenne Turbo. The S with 350hp was more than enough, the Turbo, 450hp...I like it!

The ML has cornering lights. Scared the crap out of the first time, I thought the headlights we're freaking out.

Decided I needed cornering lights when I almost hit a jogger in my neighborhood. He was wearing black sweats and a black hoodie though. Yelled to watch where I was going. Yelled back wear something besides all black so someone can see you.

So Jim since moving to Cali, the wild fires, mudslides and now a tsunami warning are making things interesting out there.

It's really clean inside too.

Got air suspension in the pepper wagon?
Not in the ML, I was actually really happy to find one with all the options except air suspension, the Jag kinda burned me out on air suspension.

As an added bonus, I managed to get my hands on the MB vehicle maintenance history. Pretty much perfect, everything done on time and everything other than some tires and oil changes done at the dealer it's whole life.

Mine looks nice and is in great shape mechanically. But was abused by a weirdo so got it real cheap. Have had to replace some bizarre stuff, but haven't spent what they are selling for yet.

As an example they had replaced all the interior bulbs with LEDs but didn't use loaded bulbs. Sometimes they worked, sometimes not, and sometimes they flashed on and off, so had to replace them all and a couple of the sockets where they tried to solder resistors to the LEDs as well. It also had the rotors from the smaller brakes of the non turbo. Just weirdo stuff.

Did find bottle caps from Mexican beers under the seat though.

Yep, the Cayenne S had air suspension and all Turbos have air suspension. I recalibrated the ride height so they sit 1" lower than stock. The Turbo was 1in higher than stock when I got it, yikes.

The dealer I bought it from said he was planning to keep it for himself but his mechanic had no idea what he was doing with Cayennes. I didn't know what that meant.

Yea, I know it is a wonderful part of the country. Just yanking yer chain. One catastrophic event I feel 100% certain will never be a problem here is Tsunamis.

We got into the SUV market. We ordered a new 2017 Macan last year. It is the one on the left.

It is amazing to me the technology that the thing has. Of course my 85 El Camino and 86 911 we high tech for the day.

Howdy Jeff. I am afraid that shotgun prank might end in violence. Someone that sneaks up on people and shoots off a blast from a shotgun will cause a reaction different than a smile.

Greetings and Salutations, to for go the standard "Good Morning" greeting but still express my gratefulness for the gift of yet another day breathing and interacting with this group.

If we do get a tsunami in this part of the country I would have to guess the tsunami would be the least of our worries at that point.

With all the conceal and carry around here that shotgun trick may get the perpetrator shot. Think it would be a lot funnier if the shot gun guy yelled "Pull!" right as the golfer swings though.

Today I am fortunate to be able to go to The Office and endure the weekly departmental meeting. Expecting quite an enjoyable experience of traffic to and from combined with interaction with fellow employees. Hope driving the 928 will increase the smiles of the commute. At least they have chosen to have the meeting at 10:30am now so I don't have to go thru 8am traffic.
