Last week while the 911 was trapped in the garage with no hope of getting it out (friends parked car and no keys to move it) the sun was out.

Yea, around here in August.

My mom's parents bought a house way out at the edge of town in 1928. They never moved until it was time to take them to the nursing home. My parents ended living a few blocks from there when Dad retired. I think it was move 19 for them. Dad's parents were almost vagabonds. They moved three times in their lifetimes.

One of my friends grew up in a wooded area in western OKC and he loved the house. He ended up buying it from his mom after his dad died. His mom moved to a nice gated community that has all the maintenance taken care of.

When we decided to get away from the horrible traffic of our old neighborhood we looked at a lot of houses. It was in the days of 28,800 BPS dial-up modems so no internet home viewing like today.

This house was the first one we looked at only because it was listed as having a bathroom in the 3 car oversize garage. We looked at a lot of weird houses, and came back to this place several times. We decided it was perfect when my wife saw the closet in the master bedroom. It is a walk in, turn left and keep walking huge closet. Really, it is L shaped. The first part is a normal size closet, then you turn left and keep going. Mrs Carrera said that was her dream. I just assumed the house had a kitchen and other bedrooms. The garage was my dream.

Fun with bureaucracy! Golly what fun. Actually it was not too bad.

I got a nice letter from the Oklahoma Tax commission with several lines of bold text and stern wording. They did include a nice letter ID number and a phone number to call. So I called. They were upset that I have not been filing my monthly sales tax reports. It was usually $0.00 since we are a professional service company. A pilot flies an airplane, takes digital photos, those digital photos get processed with expensive software on multiple computers and electronically sent to the the client via the internet. No sales taxes required.

I sent a nice letter last January explaining our business and why is would make sense to put us on the semi-annual tax reporting. They actually agreed, and send me a nice letter and email. It took two different people at the tax commission and 19 minutes on the phone. It is handled. I can ignore the letter and wait until July to file my report of $0.00.

Just don't let then know you may rent a plane out of state. You may have to ignore and complain to a whole different group within the bureaucracy.

One of the HR staff took today off. So the report she should have done yesterday got put off till tomorrow which means...She took off despite not getting her work done so I get to work this weekend even though nobody asked me.

David, that sounds about right. We had some really nice days a bit ago but the Cobra is still up waiting for its oil change. I suppose I should do that and put it back on the ground. It is blocking some other summer toys in as well.

Pretty sure wanting to drive the Cayenne in the ice and snow is why we don't have any.

I never ever ever want to see ice and snow in this area ever again. EVER!

If I want to see ice and snow I will go to the mountains to visit that crap. If I want to see violent crime I will go to Chicago slums. I want to see both with the same level of desire. Maybe set my hair on fire and get facial tattoos as well and try some meth.

Some days work makes me want to do that. Though don't understand how setting what's left of my hair on fire and getting facial tattoos while trying meth and bombing a 7-11 will actually make me feel any better. Even if I use a good toothpaste based nipple lube to keep the chafing to a minimum.

After all the other help desk people have tried everything they know and called in Microsoft Tech Support I am tasked with the issue and resolve it! Ah ha ha haaaaa.

They keep this up and my hats are going to get too small.

For the weather reports your Park of the country has been slammed this year. I am real ready for the 80 degree temps next week. I am ready for shorts. One more freeze tonight and then a warm up.

Wow, the F1 broadcast is almost like a real tv show by professionals and not a Jr. high school level first year journalism class production. So far so good for the practice.

It is freaking snowing. We might get a 1/2 inch of dry blowing snow. Not sure how the measure blowing dry snow. It is supposed to be in the 80s next week.
