Morning all. Off at 3 to drive 5-6 hours south to Bend to load a U-Haul and drive it back north on sunday. Nice way to spend the weekend.

Whooo hooo party time!

It is just 60 degrees here today, too cool to get a good vacuum and really do good AC work. I will do the antifreeze later today.

David, at least you won't be at work!?!

We have had temps in the 70s and 80s but thunderstorms along with it. It might be sunny today.

Oil change in the car tomorrow. Mow the lawn. Rake the lawn. Entertain some friends in the afternoon. Carne Asada and Special Quesadillas. I think I gained two pounds thinking of them.

Back from a mini road trip. I had to run to the international airport to pick up two people flying in. That meant I needed to borrow the wife's Macan. It is pretty tight fit with three in the Elky. It can be done but it is not real comfortable. So Mrs Carrera drove my Elky to her lunch appointment and I drove her Macan to two airports! After picking up the two guys, drive one to the Guthrie airport and drop him off to pickup his truck. Then back home for me. All of 90 miles. The Macan got 28 MPH for the trip. Mrs Carrera made it clear I was to fill the Macn up with premium. Got that done. Now outside to be a slave labor yard boy. I guess the antifreeze will wait until Sunday.

Glen, find a Subie Brat at the junkyard, pull the back seats and put in the Elky. Plenty of room now!

I hope you meant 28MPG not MPH.

I believe that. Would hate to make the boss' wife mad, you might not get any of the boss' beer.

He has a stock of beer inside and in the garage as well.

Hey Pete, it looks like the tornado storm we had is now up in your part of the country. Parts of Vermont under tornado watch. Maybe it will blow away the snow! Good luck.

Early Sunday Morning greetings.

Much better than Yesterday morning. Learned the different between a stroke and a low blood sugar event. Any my blood sugar was not that low either.

Woke up at 4am with my hands cold and checked my blood sugar, 460 yikes. Took the dose of insulin for 200. Around 5am woke up hot a sweatty and checked the thermostat, 71°F. The got dizzy and fe;l going back to bed. Stood back up and was going to take some aspirin incase it was a stroke. Was so dizzy could not remain standing and felt like "purging" that's what the ER techs called it, but only had dry heaves. Crawled to lazyboy but too dizzy to get into chair so called 911.

They checked my blood sugar and it was 135. Still high. Everything else checked okay.

Got to hospital and blood sugar was 80, normal! Most of the dizziness was gone but still had horrible nausea. After another hour blood sugar dropped to 70 and they put me on a drip with sugar. Within 30 minutes my blood sugar went to 248.

They did both Electro Cardio Gram and CAT scan and found nothing.

My blood sugar dropped back down to 145, wasn't dizzy or nauseous, and the couldn't find anything so they let me go around noon telling me to make an appointment with my doc.

After I got home. basically slept until 4:30 this morning. Woke up and hands were cold and my blood sugar was 468. Took half the insulin for 200.

Now an hour and a half later my blood sugar is still 468.

Haven't had anything since yesterday morning except water.

They also checked for infection and found none.

Don't make no sense to me.

With the stroke couldn't move my right arm of leg after standing up for long enough to make it to the next room. Laying down mobility came right back. Didn't get dizzy or nausea until riding in the ambulance. Sitting up in the hospital could not move right side and started slurring my speech. They layed the bed flat and everything immediately went back to normal.

When I was laying on the floor waiting for the ambulance this morning Pepper layed up against me and talked, saying hello, i love you, rubber tummy, and other stuff I couldn't understand.

No tornado's ( we were under a watch) but we did get a severe thunder storm and high winds Fri.. Power was still on when i went to bed but off when i woke up Sat. morn.
Had our PCA spring members meeting yesterday. First time the 911 has been out of the garage this year.
Had to release the garage door opener (no power) and manually open the door.
Driveway was a little washed out but not bad enough to bother the Porsche. Turned left on the town road and there's a tree down. Got enough of it out of the way to get by had to dodge a few limbs here and there. Told Ellen i really should be going to work but
screw it this meeting and tour is more important

We went to Enid yesterday to see my MIL. A week early Mother’s Day visit. I spent several hours updating her computer and my wife the master gardener planted some flowers. I was pressed into shovel duty and bush trimming duty.
It took almost two hours to download and install the latest update on Win 10. It is a computer I built for her three years ago.

Now we get get to go wash the Macan. It has a lot of bugs from the trip up to Enid. We hauled up plants and mulch and implements of work.

Richard, it sounds like your body’s check engine light is flashing. Take yourself to a good medical shop and get an extensive diagnostic service. You still have lots of miles to put on that body of yours. Get ‘er done!
