nope it died and was replaced.

Yikes,
Sounds almost like my SIL. She used Microsoft Works a long time ago. Called me just the other day wanting to open some of those old files. Told her back then to open everything and save with the newer software or she wouldn't be able to access it any more. She didn't have time. |
close but even then I didn't have the tech to convert from one format to another. Now its just straight digital to Apple software.

Spent some of the $50 Walmart gift cards I got for spending a couple of hours getting my eyes checked for followup on the study I was on. Almost never go to Walmart but found I could redeem the cards for purchases online. Got socks and underwear and a couple of those double walled insulated 20oz drink cups. Got a 30oz one of those drink cups and like it except for one thing. The mouth on it is so big I can't get a drink without it dribbling down the sides of my face.

if they have not banned them get some straws.
|
Straws are for sure not banned around here. Virtually any restaurant that one orders tea or soda they bring a straw without asking.
|
there ya go problem solved.
|
I received a straw with my drink (lemonade) when we went out for Taco Tuesday (Saturday) last night. It was even made out of plastic. Oh the humanity!
|
you rebel you!
|
My silverware drawer has a bunch of straws in it already. Those with the bendy end.
I want to know what it is that sea turtles are trying to snort that they get straws stuck up their nose! Especially so many of them that it is a big enough problem to outlaw straws? |
David, you can pay the postage, assuming we have the right camera.
Looks like we will be at the Holiday Inn on South Prospect tomorrow night. What time do y'all normally eat? We should be in around 4 then plan to hit the memorial. |
Richard, your company should take a look at Baramundi. German company I think. Jenny wondered if that is where Rick Lee works. I didn't see him, but I am not sure I would recognize him in leather lederhosen.

Sounds like Glen is going to be tied up by his slave driver boss until 9am Fri. I usually do lunch at 11am so dinner can be anytime, Your group know what you are hungry for?
|
How about a non-chain restaurant representative of OK City that isn't seafood. What's the best way to let you know when we get to town?
|
Yea, I will be slaving from 2:00 until bedtime.
|
Yuck, I my legs fell all weird because I have to wear jeans. First time this year. Yuck. Yuck.
It is 47 degrees now and the high is low to mid 60s. I am sure at the airport it will feel kinda brisk so I likely will have to don a sweat shirt or some such way to stay warm. At altitude it will be in the 50s and feel even colder. The airplane has a great heater, but that only helps when we have the windows closed and are inside the airplane. On the ground getting fuel and getting prepared to go the heater does not help. Oh well, we had a few days of fall, mostly rainy days. Winter will be here in no time. |
Good Morning.
Went and got me some Starbucks this morning. Got up at 6:30 but kept falling back asleep sitting at the computer. Didn't bother to put on long pants. It was only chilly from leaving garage til I pulled out of the drive. Heater in the Cayenne works good and comes on warm pretty quick. Pepper sure likes the baristas as Starbucks. They always give her a pupachino and make a big deal over her. When ordering at the speaker they say hello to her and she barks back. |

For sure worth seeing the place. |
There are train tracks the go by the company I worked at. Everyone ran outside because we thought a train had derailed. Very similar boom and building shaking. Outside saw the smoke rising downtown. Then everyone ran in and turned on their radio/TVs to find out what was going on.
Friend of mine worked for the Journal Record across the street from the Mura building. He was out making a delivery and was 3 blocks away. Said he had just gotten in his car when it went off. He started his car, drove strait there, and there were already Firetrucks on the scene. He was pretty shaken up over it. |
