We're in for more rain this week and next week. The 2019 rainfall total so far is more than 14", and our annual average is 13". This is fantastic, except for the whole no sunshine thing. Beggars can't be choosers!

So is it his hunting, or music, or both. Don't want to argue, just curious.

The begining of Wang Tango is my ringtone.

Dang it, work struck again. Instead of finishing up in the garage the mean ol boss made me work on our QuickBooks. Our CPA called, he is working seven days a week trying to meet the deadlines for lots of clients. He had some questions on the categories and classes I had set up. So he had me run some reports to find any transactions with no listed class. Now I have lots of class, or my QuickBooks does. Every credit card transaction, check or electronic transfer is covered. Dang that was fun. I sure wish I could be an CPA. Or maybe I will set my hair on fire instead.

With so many new and changed tax laws and elimination of other deductions like everyone else, we are working hard to use every legal deduction available. Tax avoidance is just fine. I just don't want to get over the line and go into tax evasion. That is bad pookie, and I sure do NOT want to get audited again. That really sucked.

The warm up has begun. It is up to 12. It is supposed to be mid 50s and sunny on Sunday, just in time for the autocross.

RKDinOKC 03-04-2019 06:14 AM

I think the forecasters are doing like they used to do with rain. Used to be the 5th day on a 5 day forecast was always rain.

Porsche-poor 03-04-2019 06:20 AM

Morning all. What warm up its 27* out.

GH85Carrera 03-04-2019 06:49 AM

Hey, I am just ready to autocross. The last autocross we had was in light mist. The track was soaked, and I had to use windshield wipers on course. No heavy rain so I was not getting wet and getting my seats wet but it was a wet track. Virtually every other car there is a "modern" car with ABS and that makes a huge difference in wet conditions.

Of course with my antique, I am not competitive, and I sure don't push that hard. I am just there for the fun.

Porsche-poor 03-04-2019 07:23 AM

I almost uncovered mine this weekend but ran out of time. Now the rains begin later today.

GH85Carrera 03-04-2019 07:26 AM

I still have to finish up putting mine back together. Since the boss pulled me off the repair of the 911 and made me play accountant on a Sunday, I figure I will just finish up on a regular work day.

Don't get caught by the boss he might cut you off the free beer.

Never, he knows that would cause a major work shutdown and strike until that idiot management relented and had to provid more expensive beer. The picket line in the in front of the office door would be impossible to break.

Porsche-poor 03-04-2019 08:51 AM

yeah strike breaking pups would be no help.

GH85Carrera 03-04-2019 09:01 AM

Nope, they know who feeds em. They both LOVE to be up in moms lap most of the day. Especially on cold days. It is amazing how well their tummy clocks work in the afternoons. I feed them in the mornings when I get up after getting the coffee pot going. I feed them in the evenings about 4:30 They usually abandon mommies lap about 4:00 and try to lobby for another "Daylight savings move the clock forward" day. They just hang out with me until feeding time.

Porsche-poor 03-04-2019 09:05 AM

our lab is the same way. in the afternoon on weekends if I so much as move he's up and ready to follow me to the food bin. he is mostly disappointed when I go someplace else.

flipper35 03-04-2019 09:22 AM

Our lab doesn't care that much about food as she would rather play. Our beagle thinks as long as the clock it ticking, it is time to eat.

-5* on the way in. Should be up to 5* sometime today. At least the sun is shining, but I am still not taking the cover off the Cobra or bike.

Anyone want to give my wife lessons in SharePoint?

GH85Carrera 03-04-2019 09:53 AM

Every beagle I have ever heard about is totally food driven. And very few beagles more than three years old are not fat, or really fat.

flipper35 03-04-2019 10:19 AM

We cut his food back in the summer, but he supplements his diet with the rodents he finds out in the yard and fields.

RKDinOKC 03-04-2019 11:27 AM

Pepper pulls snakes and lizards out of holes in the summer. I only notice because she leaves bits for the owls to clean up.

GH85Carrera 03-04-2019 11:45 AM

Our male dachshund kills lizards, or actually skinks. Sometimes they drop their tails get away but I have found a few dead and chewed up skinks. He kils the little bitty snakes that eat worms. The snakes ar smaller than a soda straw. He has gotten a few mice, and eaten one small one, but a big one was just chewed up. He did not want to give it up, but he dropped it for a dog treat.

He really thinks he want a squirrel, but he has little change of getting one. I thought that about the last pair of dachshunds we had but they managed to kill one somehow.

Porsche-poor 03-04-2019 12:04 PM

Our Boston wants the bunny that comes into the yard but she has about as much stealth as a brick thru a glass window. Hunting is not her cup of tea.
