I saw a yellow cobra with white stripes on a magazine cover when I was a kid, never got over it. Been dreaming of one ever since.

Looks like you've got a hitch in your neck, Richard. Hope it's straightened out over the years. :)

Jim Richards 02-20-2019 02:53 PM

That yellow Cobra screams 1960s.

RKDinOKC 02-20-2019 02:55 PM

Was being cute.

Jim Richards 02-20-2019 03:10 PM

Totally nailed it, Richard! :D

Raining again. We might exceed our average annual rainfall (13”) by tonight/tomorrow AM. Less than two months to have the year’s average total. Dayammm.

astrochex 02-20-2019 05:57 PM

That Cobra is very purty. The black pinstripes really set off the white stripes.

RKDinOKC 02-20-2019 07:32 PM

Ya gotta be careful yellow wth black stripes. To much black and it just ends up looking like a bumblebee, unless that's what yer goin fer.

Transformers, robots in disguise

That is a nice looking Cobra. The body shape of the later Cobras is pretty awesome. The really early AC bodies were just not mean enough looking.

I downloaded the new version of Photoshop, 2019. I was hoping they had removed the large Tif file limit. Nope, it will still load it up, but ya can't save it. GRRRRR.

Oh well, I have to cut my project file up into 9 pieces to stay under the limit with a mapping program. The cool part, is each file piece has a "world" file that locates the image on planet earth. As long as I have that file in the folder with the tiff, I can reload the pieces in my mapping program, and output a final mosaic fairly easily.

Morning all. Back to below freezing out here. I may have to build a fire to stay warm. Think the office will mind?

flipper35 02-21-2019 08:22 AM

Below freezing for a bit here, then near 40* and rain by the weekend.

If you build a fire, be careful. Some of the materials in the computer will give of some pretty nasty fumes when you burn them.

Sorry I couldn’t figure out how to embed this.

Cool, windy and some rain here. Our year’s rainfall is in the books. It’s all a bonus from now through December.

Porsche-poor 02-21-2019 08:39 AM

I love it!

David, your work posts always make me think of Office Space. You might enjoy this, too.

Thanks guys for the wishes.

I just got a call. They want me to come in on Monday for a 3.5 hour long interview and to meet the team. I am excited.

However, it is my friday. I have a long weekend get away with some buddies to head to my cabin. Relaxation and drinking some beers to calm the nerves before mondays interview.

Porsche-poor 02-21-2019 09:13 AM

Priceless!

flipper35 02-21-2019 10:00 AM

Great news Andy. Enjoy the long weekend.
