Remeber trying to put plastic over and heaters under an apricot tree than never had fruit because it budded before the last freeze.

Been on-line shopping for overy 6 months now. Lately the substitutions have gotten really weird. Have put notes no most things to DO NOT MAKE SUBSTITUTIONS.

We are not there yet. Soon but maybe not.

It's just that I don't like Pamolive, or chunky peanut butter with sugar. Have also found my brands are often in stock but go out before my shopper shops so will put them on the next list and eventually get the stuff I like. Sometimes helps to enter order at night so will be shopped first thing next day. Have kind of given up on finding out when the trucks are arriving and shelves will be stocked though.

Thought it was moved to July 15.

Yea, the year I do my taxes early, and have them filed in early March, the tax deadline is pushed back. And of course my tax man tells me to save more on taxes I should invest the maximum in amount in new IRA. And of course, then watch it start to evaporate. Do I have great timing or what!

The good news is I have my refunds long ago, and I know my boss is not gonna fire me.

RKDinOKC 04-13-2020 08:12 AM

Thought you had to file by April 15th, unless you got an extension, BUT now don't have to pay til July.

This year is the closest my withholding has ever gotten. Owed $7 Fed, $7 State.

GH85Carrera 04-13-2020 08:35 AM

Years ago when I was single and had just a paycheck, I could get really close of the amounts. Now I have to file estimated taxes ever sort of quarter of the year. Only the US congress could write a law that defines the 12 months divided by for to be a 1/4 of the year on the April 15t, June 15th, October 15th, and January 15th of the following year.

With depreciation on the airplane, purchased of equipment, and the myriad of different software updates we make we really don't have a clue what our net profit will be at the end of a year. We had two really large projects that were the bulk of this year's profit.

Both filing and payment.

Woo Hooo, I just got some of my money back. I got my government aid deposited into my account.

I stated a thread about it. I plan to blow it all on meals at local owned restaurants, and large tips to the workers.

Still a few months away from tax time here.

A couple of weeks ago, a mate who owns an agricultural tech business asked me to write code (c++) for an automated drafting machine. Even though I haven’t written any code since my university course in the mid 90s, I’m giving it a crack - oh 5hit! I’m getting there. It was a slow start but the learning curve is becoming logarithmic. I’m enjoying getting the brain in tech/engineer mode again.

We were doing our nightly cover the plants routines and it started snowing a little bit. Just a few flakes, but that is more than enough for me.

One more night of that and spring returns.

GH85Carrera 04-14-2020 04:47 AM

No complaints, it only dropped to 35 degrees so no frozen plants. We still have to go uncover everything this morning and recover it tonight. The the spring weather returns.

Porsche-poor 04-14-2020 06:30 AM

Morning all. No weather complaints here either. Allergies on the other hand are off the chart. On to the 19th day of working from home. So sick of the I'm bored texts and emails. I started responding to them with "I'm working I'll get back to you...……..maybe"

RKDinOKC 04-14-2020 07:05 AM

Got some new AC filters yesterday. About fell and broke my neck installing them, but man, that merv 13 was worth it. Runny nose stopped and air purifier stop running. The ones I replaced were new but were merv 8. Big difference in allergens.

Porsche-poor 04-14-2020 07:32 AM

my problem is going outside. I'm fine in the house but not outside. Should only last a week or two.

RKDinOKC 04-14-2020 08:50 AM

I just know after about 3 months of filter I start waking with a stuffy nose, and a new filter fixes it.

GH85Carrera 04-14-2020 08:55 AM

I had horrible allergies for the first 40 years of my life. I finally went to the Oklahoma Allergy clinic, and was on shots for 25 years. Twice per week, shots in the arm and it simple fixed 99% of my allergies. Now I get itchy eyes in the spring, but that goes away quickly once summer gets here. I don't think we will ever see summer at this rate.

We are supposed to break the record for the coldest, high temperature of this date. Bring back spring!

I plugged in my iPhone to back it up to the computer. There is a new updated OS, so I am updating it. The download is 4.82 GB!

I bet I was using my 6th or 7th computer by the time I had a 5 GB boot drive. Now I download that to update my phone. Amazing.
