100% humidity outside. Rather foggy, like San Fransisco level.

In a 40 degree hangar? Pass.

It is just our work van or work truck. The engine is started only if it is making us money.

We have that fog here. After all the rain and snow and now warm weather it got white out everywhere. At least it isn't freezing.

G’day guys. The Cayman is a beautiful machine. My face gets sore from my stupid grin during every drive. We have a road trip planned for June - can’t wait.

Sluffer!

Our week of gloomy weather is over. 7 days of cloudy and misty and rain, and now we get to see that big bright ball in the sky and the sky is blue and it was 62 yesterday. Several more warm days to come.

I need to get to the garage and start on my shifter bushings upgrade. I have to remove the center console which is a pin in the butt, and get the shifter out. The new improved shifter bushing installed. And "while I am in there" add the shifter improvement spring, and get the shift knob off so i can get the shifter leather boot off to touch it up with some dye. And install the Dave Mason shift knob. Then reassemble. I have tried in the past to get the knob off with no success. I figure with it off the car, I can apply the force needed to get the knob to let go.

Reassembly is the same pain in the butt process. Getting the AC controls off and back in place without bending the temp control tube at at all is delicate.

Sounds like fun. I have more than one of his shift knobs. A plain one and one that has the grand kids initials on it.

The week of clouds meant the solar power for the transmitter of my VantageVue weather station has not kept up. It had to run on the battery. So I guess, I will go replace the battery. At least is is really NICE outside.

It is mounted on a 10 foot pole on top of the fence pole. So I have to lower the pole to get to the transmitter.

Probably easier then getting the console out of the 911. I did that once and I didn't have to mess with the A/C controls.

Yep, I am done!

The old battery lasted 50 months. I have three screw down "hose clamp" holding the pole to the fence post. The fence post is a metal shaft and the pole for the transmitter is just held in place with the three hose clamps or straps. The transmitter has two 11mm nuts clamping it to the pole. So my small drill driver can zip then apart. Real easy battery replacement, back on the pole and raise the pole back up to max height, solar cells pointing to the south. It would be more accurate for the wind speeds if it were way higher, as the trees, my storage building, the neighbors storage building, and houses affect the wind speeds reading. It is an open area so rain fall, temps, humidity are all OK.

The inside unit will tell me the battery is low out there. It takes a a full day to get the message the battery is not low.
