Thats the best way to have it. Move to go see it.

With the forecast, the boss's wife insisted we go to the grocery store today "before the rush" and get some stuff. We normally go on Sunday mornings after breakfast at our regular breakfast place. As regulars, they know to bring me a glass of water, and a cup of black coffee. My wife gets a diet coke automatically. We don't get menus as they are unneeded. And all the staff know I am a good tipper, so we get great service, and lots of chatting with the staff. Almost all the wait staff will stop by and chat just a little as they pour refills on drinks.
It is not quite like Cheers with everyone yelling Norm, but close. It looks like we may miss breakfast this Sunday due to crappy weather. We do have a Saturday breakfast with the local Porsche club. |
It will just be my luck to have things all set for a ride home to have it snow here and the 911 will not go in.
Well parts are on order. Tonight I have to go determine the color of the front shocks so they m=can match them. Fingers crossed this all goes well.
Elephant racing's site may help with figuring out what your shocks are. Mine were black, and the Boge shocks. I just ordered the Bilstien inserts, and it was perfect. One thing to be note, the nitrogen pressure in the shocks will indeed raise your ride height. After they are installed you need to drive around a bit to get them to settle to the new resting height. I found a road that had undulations, and drove back and forth because it made the suspension compress and then expand from the undulations. Then I had it all aligned, corner balance and ride height set to Euro standard.
And I ordered the Bilstien HD shocks, not the stiffer Sports. The HD is perfect for a mostly street car. The HD is for more track oriented cars.
Morning. The shop called and had me look. Mine are green. It goes in next week. Looks like rain.............
We did get about an inch of snow last night. The temps were above freezing, so the streets and sidewalks are clear. It just sows up on the yard and elevated objects. I told my wife I would shovel the driveway and sidewalks this time and she gets them next snow. She just ignored me.
Morning all. Be nice she might make you go dig holes in the snow.
It warmed up nicely and the sun was out and the snow all vanished, I like it!
Mrs. Carrera woke up yesterday felling bad, with a runny nose and coughing. She wanted me to take her to an urgent care place for a Covid-flu-RSV test. I stayed in the car to avoid a room of sick people. She found out she has RSV, and they said it is usually like a really bad cold, and to stay home until she feels better. The good news for me, is I had a Prevnar 20 shot back in July at my doctors office. It must work, because I ain't sick, and we sleep in the same bed. |
Morning. Hope you stay that way. This is what happens when you scoff at snow removal.
I am just glad my doctor's office gave me the vaccination. I was sick once, I did not like it, and don't ever want to do that again. It is against my religion.
Good plan to have but watch your 6 anyway.
Yea, kissing and other intimate activities are suspended for a while. And extra hand washing before I eat is a priority.
rain rain go away!

So, the last few days here have been warm, cold, sunny, rainy, snowy, hail, breezy, high winds and a tornado 50 miles east. Like all year packed into a few days. Can't wait to see how the rest of the year pans out.
Oh yeah, sick and can't sleep and the internet stopped working. Had to fix it so I can go back to bed. I blame Arby's. Was good until wife brought that home. Fries were like potato jerky. Yuckalicious. Fixed now, back to bed so I can pretend to sleep. |
So Arby's fries caused your internet to go down?
Morning all. Me thinks his meds have kicked in. Rest well.
How is Mrs. C? |
better, but not recovered. We will not be doing a Valentine's day dinner tonight. Mayby by Friday night.
Order some food in for the sick one.
