For future reference, I was talking with a Trijicon rep at the NRA show here in May. She said you can mail them your worn out sights and they'll replace the tritium gas capsules and repaint them for around $50. So if you can find some old ones someone doesn't want, it might save a few bucks.

What - you sold my gun?!? :-) Well, I forgive you. Seriously, good job and sounds like you have a real keeper in the PSP.

The PSP was the gun you wanted, that's the one i kept.
![]() I have fired 3 other PSP's and a P7 M8, my particular PSP has outshot all of them, at least in my hands. I'll be keeping it for life. I just got a sweet little Kel-Tec P32 auto to carry while my PSP is out getting work done. I bought the crimson trace integrated laser and the extended 10rd grip magazine for it too. For ammo i found a company called Buffalo Bore that makes hard cast flat nose 75gr .32ACP+P ammo loaded to maximum SAAMI pressure levels. It doesn't expand, but it sure as hell will penetrate deep. In the independent ballistics tests i saw it penetrated 15.3" of gelatin, which is almost double what most of the hollowpoints can achieve in that caliber, and is deeper than even the super hot European Geco ammo. In terms of muzzle energy it exceeds that of most .380 auto +p rounds. I contacted a custom holster maker and have 2 left hand P32 w/laser holsters being made, both in leather. The first is a belt slide, and the second is a clip on IWB holster. ![]() Kel-Tec with Crimson Trace integrated laser (my P32 is all black) ![]() My P32 with Buffalo bore ammo pictured. I also got 100rds of the Buffalo Bore 9mm+P+ 115gr stuff. It's rated at 1400fps and an honest 500ft-lbs of energy, and uses a very shallow Gold-Dot hollowpoint bullet. The only other round i've seen that can exceed 500ft-lbs in a 9mm Para is Double Tap 115gr ammo, so i have some of that in the mail too. I'll simply use whichever of the 2 is the most accurate. Cor-Bon Pow'r Ball 100gr "plugged" JHP comes pretty close, hitting 483ft-lbs, but the lighter weight bullet probably doesn't penetrate as deep. I've tested the Pow'r Ball ammo in my P7, and it is quite accurate. I'm probably going to give my stash of Pow'r ball to my god son for his Hi Point 995 carbine (which is kept locked up with a trigger lock in his mom's room) for "just in case" scenarios. Hi Points are all rated for +P+ ammo, and out of a 16" bbl the nominal 1475fps 100gr pow'r ball ammo should probably crack 1600+ fps and give a really nice flat trajectory and outstanding long range accuracy. I have to take a pic of his latest target and post it. The kid is REALLY doing well for a new shooter, and he can shoot that "cheap" little rifle insanely well considering his lack of experience. Yep, i'm keeping it. I did some fast reload drills now that i have 3 mags for my PSP, and really the heel release only slows me down a little tiny bit. I find that far more time is wasted trying to get the new mags into the magwell(this is true for any pistol) than i spend hitting the heel release and pulling the old mag out.
In any case, the PSP is plenty fast to reload. So IMO the M8 holds no advantage whatsoever vs the PSP, and IMO the PSP is a far prettier and sleeker pistol. The M8 has a GIGANTIC trigger guard, and looks terribly out of place. |

I've had one for about 20 years, a M13 have a bunch of mags and three or four sets of grips for it and a bunch of leather. It has been well traveled Lebanon, Sinai, Sudan, Somalia, Afganland and lastly Iraq. The little guy has served me well over the years and the finish (hard chrome/satin) is still holding out just like the day it was applied.
If you want to see some pics I will dig it out of the safe and post them. Todd ![]() |

It comes with almost a thousand bucks worth of mags. I told him he's nuts for not selling them individually. Shrug. |

Thanks, snipe, but that is more $ than I want to spend, more hassle selling off the 10 extra mags than I have time for, and I won't have a sniper test target proving its accuracy above and beyond the average P7 . . .
