Right - it was stupid -- in a number of different ways. The anarchists who burned SUVs were all "kids" - masraum said this was an "older guy" so he lacks even that mitigating factor.

lumberjacks tend to be rolling in '75 pick ups, and if one caught you trying to slash one his tires, he would bounce your head off the sidewalk a few times. On the plus side of that, he would not call the cops, but would not call an ambulance either.

Kind of nice that the car needed a new top anyway, and the guy slices his hand vandalizing it.

Here, the term "logger" applies. Other than that, you could be right. I once asked a logger what he would do if he came across people spiking trees. Spiked trees can cause serious injury or death to people falling them and to people in sawmills.

Anyway, his response: "I always have my rifle in my pickup, and there are a lot of places to hide bodies in these woods."

Last week I got a call and was told I was getting a new company car. I was thrilled! I went to go pick it up. the garage supervisor point over the the cars lined up . "Yours is ther 4th one over". A f#!*ing Prius!! I was like are you kidding me?? I told him never mind i'll keep my old one. ( Chevy Cobalt).

Now lets not be hasty. People have been known to vandalize nice cars just because they have issues with people having money. I have also known people who have issues with furrin vehikles.

I don't care if someone drives a Prius. I have issues with people who hold up traffic because they are saving gas, and I have issues with vandalism. The Prius owner needs to go to court and have his ass kicked legally. A regular ass whooping would only add to the sense of righteousness that justifies poor behavior.

I also get a kick out of people from this board commenting about people wanting to tell others how to live their lives.

We NEVER do that here.

However, I am pretty sure that MOST of you have never resorted to vandalism. I am pretty sure that some of you have, given what has been said by some over the course of many, many posts. And I am sure that said posters feel just as justified over their actions as the Prius owner did.

Many of us feel at times like we have all the answers. Rationalising and justifying are usually in the mirror that we hold up for others to look at.
