Not directly, no.

Directed at anyone worried about something silly like WD. I flew cropdusters for a long time, injested far too many chemicals that are KNOWN to kill people, yet for some silly reason am still alive and kicking. Course am bald and ugly but thats life.

Stop worry about washing your hands, cleaning everything up, and so on. Your body is a very powerful machine and kills most bad things that it comes in to contact with.

Just love to watch these young moms using disinfectant on everything. Christ, when we were kids we played in the dirt, ate crayons and so on and our moms knew we would live. Now our bodies have build up a good immune system and do not have any problems. Now that the swine flu is here its not usually going after us old farts but the young kids whose moms bent over backwards to protect. Their immune system is terrible and its now showing.

Off my soapbox now...

PS drink a shot of tequila every so often, it will kill most of whats inside you!

Other than being useless, WD40 won't hurt you.

1st - read the MSDS

2nd - yes, those hydrocarbons are not good for you - but not a lot -- I'd bet money I can find worse things in your fridge than the WD-40 fumes you breathe...

3rd you'd need an epidemiologist, not a chemist or chemical engineer...

I agree, but it makes a handy propellant to seal a tire bead, "hillbilly" style:

I take precautions because I have a weakened immune system from my cancer.
But tequila is one of my meds to help me along.

That is either very old or not WD-40 that he is spraying.

WD-40 used to be flammable, you could use it like ether to get an engine to fire. Not any more. The mixture has been changed.

Oil/petroleum and Gas/diesel all have chemicals which have carcenogenic properties. They are also known to cause dermatitis and other skin conditions.

I'd NEVER EVER use it to wash greses of my hands.

Use a PROPER barrier skin cream, and or latex gloves.
Wash with soap/water Swafega or washing powder.

Doctors dont know why people will get cancers but reducing the risks helps

For every person who says they've been doing something for 20 years, another says they have done it for 6 months and have been terminally diagnosed.

You pays your price and takes your choice

I don't think that was WD. Its never flashed like that... Especially not now... You can pull that trick with ether though.... But I wouldn't stand in front of the bead....

That is why you all hate us! That and because we are beautiful!

2 oz WD40
2 oz Vodka
Every morning weather I need it or not!!!

Used to wash my hands with gasoline to remove tar

PS, When I was a kid we found that WD40 was great for removing rust from chrome, seriously.

It sounds like you are one of those fear mongers, running in the street screaming, "You're all going to die!"

Hey, wait a minute, that's true!

Trust me, the arthritis I have already would kill any cancer that'd be foolish enough to attack my joints!

WD-40 isn't going to hurt you, you won't live long enough. There are so many other things that are going to get you first.

When we were kids, and got a cut or a scrape at our Grandparents house, we ran like hell. If Grandpa got you first, the wound got dunked in Kerosene. If Grandma got you, it was methiolate. Both burned like hell! And believe me, when we played in Grandpa's junkyard we cot cut up a LOT. The head of DCFS would have a massive coronary, and lock all of us up if they saw what we did as kids.

The funny thing about kerosene is that I've never had a scar from a cut or scrape if it dunked in the stuff. Still use it today.

WD-40 won't do anything, including causing cancer.

There are sooo many products that do things better than WD-40 I don't know why it is even still around.

Please provide your source for that claim.

I'd really, really love for you to provide proof that Vaseline (petroleum jelly) causes cancer. Same with make up. Same for all the other thousands of things that are made with petroleum products that we use every single day.
