thread of the year

Is it time for nominations for Thread of the year, and Post of the year?

Bob's ode to his deceased wife was a treasure.

It should include a link and cite the reply #'s that make it significant.

I just realized that I have not been trying nearly hard enough with my threads as of this year.

I will need to step it up for 2010.

Oh I had forgotten about the "Higgins" thread... When it was posted in January, I laughed until my face hurt.

I re-read it today and it was even funnier because I realized the guy is from Washington. I could run into him at a swapmeet or a DE...

If I do, I must apologize in advance because I will absolutely BURST OUT LAUGHING! Not some little school girl giggle, but the roll on the ground and howl like a hyena kind of laughter with tears running out of my eyes. There is no way that I could possibly keep a straight face if I met "Higgins..."

(sorry Mr. Higgins...I'm not cruel, just have rather poor laughter control)
