If it's a spoon, why can't I eat my pudding?

New to me 1941 winchester Garand (Mix-master-blaster)

It will help keep my 1941 Springfield from being lonely until I can re-unite them with their long lost cousins International Harvester Garand & and Harrison & Richardson Garand.

After the next one comes to visit I can use the stacking swivels!

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

I purchased an IH M1 Garand from the Army when I was 18. It was a pretty neat program and it's a great rifle!

Me too! IH Garand...thru the old DCM program. $125, got fingerprinted by the local cops...and about the time I'd forgotten sending the forms in, it came in the mail. Opened the box, discovered it had never been fired, back in the box it went.

I could get into a lot of trouble there.

They are even selling one of the rifle that got me into a US Army uniform. U.S. SA M2 .22 Cal. Training Rifle SN- 16206 Auction

A bit pricey for me these days but we had lots of them years ago.

Funny you should mention that. Mine from the DCM looked as if the receiver was brand new, but the stock was definitely not. In fact, it has two or three notches in it????
