I guess it must be a culture thing. If I saw a skeleton on a motorcycle I would wonder what type of gadget it was. I would walk over to it to see how it is operating. I sure as heck would not think it was a real skeleton talking. No lungs, no vocal chords, no lips. Bones can't talk. But that is just me.

Dark alley, bad neighborhood, element of surprise, freaky guy yelling....I can see it freaking ya out till you have a chance to think about it. They never show the clips where he gag bombs.

That would get your motorbike and plastic skeleton all shot to pieces in certain places I have been.

But if you did that someplace where there are a bunch of backwards ass, superstitious hill-billies, it would probably work pretty well.

Bones and skulls have a bigger significance in Latin American countries, particularly for Catholics. Maybe that has something to do with it.
