Motivation is low.... it's Friday

My motivation to do anything but go home is very low. That's probably partly because it's Friday. Fortunately, I'm taking off a couple of hours early to get some errands done, then taking the wife shopping and out to dinner for her B-day.

Woo Hoo, it's the weekend!

I would like to add that I did accomplish some stuff today, so it's not been a total loss.

Sent out some quotes this morning early, gave blood, took a nap. I need to get a life.

This rain ain't helpin' either!

I got my new tire mounted on the new rims, sitting waiting for me...and it'll probably be 2 more days before I can mount them

Well, no, I'm sure I could mount them tonight, there's room on the living room floor, and they are pretty enough to get my turned on...but I won't be able to mount them *on the car* for a few days.

I have a cubic f*&#-ton of spreadsheet monkey-work to get done, and so far I think I've cut/pasted 5 columns and averaged three of them. Oh, and made 2 pivot tables.

Friday is simultaneously the worst and best day of the week.

There should be a new name for Fridays when you know you have to come in and work overtime on Saturday.

Troubleshooting a peoplesoft certificate issue...

Building out a load balancer environment in our internet DMZ to test problems we're having in production...

Two-factor authentication project meeting where I spend as much time on the project as the contractor I hired to do it...

Wondering why all of my dynamically mapped users in ACS have disappeared and why the folks I gave specific instructions NOT to leave a certain group of users as dynamically mapped didn't follow instructions (because now I have to fix it)...

Back to the people soft cert - they don't know how to fix the problem but realized their test environment is all wrong and Ihave to fix it...

Change some load balancer virtual servers around because some BA/SA thinks something is wrong but can't put his finger on it (because it is in his a$$)...

Oh and one of our new york sites can't receive incoming calls for some reason...

That was my day.

Scrum this AM, finished 2 tasks in current Sprint that cut somewhat into my drinking hours in the late PM.
Making up for the lost drinking time now

"I have eight bosses Bob. So that means that when I make a mistake, I have eight different people coming by to tell me about it. That's my only real motivation is not to be hassled, that and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Bob, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get fired. "

15 hours this semester....I knew that statement would get a rise out of some of you

Sid, that does not sound fun. I went to class, ate some lunch, played racquetball, then started drinking. Just woke up about 30 mins ago, but then I was out until 430
