One of my friends from 10 years ago was the Principal of a Catholic Elementary school in upstate New York. She described exactly this, at 3rd grade dances. And it was 10 years ago.

Call me old fashioned but that is wrong. In my day if I dry humped (thats what it is, its not dancing) a girl in public like that I would of been given the strap. But now we don't use it because it is cruel.

Why do you think this does not happen here in the US? Both my kids go to public schools and the 'diversity' of attending kids is eye opening. It's really sad and frightening at the same time. Some folks have zero business being a parent. The biggest mistake folks can make is assuming this sort of behavior is isolated to a particular culture/race/economic/social demographic. Lots of white kids from well to do families that I wouldn't want anywhere near my kids.
