Through Monday morning...

Atmospheric conditions could trigger a deterioration in air
quality.

We can all improve air quality by doing simple things, such as
limiting the use of fireplaces and wood-burning stoves and using
public transit.

Smog especially affects asthmatic children and people with
respiratory or heart disease. It is therefore recommended that they
avoid doing intense physical activity outdoors until the smog warning
is lifted.

Supplementary information

Wood heating produces close to 61% of smog-causing particles and
generates the largest number of such particles, followed by
Industrial activity (22%), car travel (14%) and various other sources
(3%).
