The 12 hours of Sebring is on March 20th so who's planning on going ? Been going for years and will be there this year again. Pelican gathering at the Porsche corral ?

If I can get the time off, I will probably be there. I'm planning on sleeping in my tent next to my 928.

I will be there. First time to Sebring and it will complete my endurance spectating trifecta (Daytona 24, Lemans 24 and now Sebring).
I'll actually be there with my wife and potentially my in-laws. Long story short I managed to work two days at the races into a previously planned extended family vacation. Depending on what family ends up making it to the race, I've been told to watch out for the wild party section. Personally I wouldn't mind checking this area out, but if the nephews come along we'll have to detour that area. What are the best spots to spectate? Are particular areas better at different times of the day/race? |

. You basically walk the track, stop and watch and then move on. Lots of RV's along the fences. And then there is the " zoo ". This is the entire area around the hairpin, this area is easily spotted as women will be lifting their tops and the ground is usually littered with thousands of cans, bottles and some pretty good porn . Sebring is a HUGE social gathering you will see some real crazies there. I've been going for 15 years and loved each time. At least once you have to pay for a pit box seat. I did that 2 years ago and was directly over the Audi and Penske Porsche pits it was great ! Parking is a real ***** it's first come first served. I got tired of that so I just pony up the bucks to park in the Porsche corral. That way my car is safe and I'm pretty much guaranteed a spot. The past few years attendance has been in the 100,000 range. If it rains a lot it gets ugly because drainage is non-existant. I'll be in the 1983 911SC quartz gray in the corral hope to see you there !
