as evidence of my lifelong training..............................
when i 1st took my AZCCW with a former DOE security cop from guns plus here, after shooting my 50rds at still targets, advancing psycho knife wielding man on wheels and scoring 100 out of 100 on my practical, the instructor asked me "where did ya learn how to shoot?" "the military?" "Nope just grew up shooting a hell of alot of lil furry creatures on the run and big juans"! my son last weekend scored 100 out of 100 on his practical. he too was raised shooting lil and big furry creatures on the run. a chip off the old block. actually an insanely accurate sniper in the makings. scarey good, just ask his 3x4 elk that he nailed(anchored) with his marlin 45/70! practice makes perfect. dance(i mean dance MO-FO!) milk jugs at 50 yds with a full size .45 all day long and you will figure it all out. on average we shoot wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy MORE THAN 99% of all cops out there qualifying in a year. practice makes perfect. accuracy speaks.

oh by the way the upper target is "combat wombat"!
not sitting there plinking one round at a time off the bench. as FAST AS YOU CAN SHOOT! you are being timed and each and every station has a different target at a different range, shooting thru culvert pipes,around doors,thru windows,crouched,kneeling,opposite side shooting. the whole enchilada. talk about separating the wheat from the chafe. wanna get good? like really good? do this every month or twice a month if ya have a real woody to become a SHOOTIST! pick urine poison: .22 combat wombat big bore combat wombat i guarantee you will cry "MOMMY" after shooting 2 days straight non stop with a .45 until ya get in shape! with big bore combat wombat...................you better have a quality gunsmith go thru it and give it his blessing as this kind of abuse, is very hard on any gun. i dont care how much ya paid for it. it is TOTAL ABUSE for the number of rounds you shoot in 2 days. the only other equal would be if ya were stationed in the pacific or korea with a SUICIDE CHARGE COMING AT YA! always fun to watch lubricants burn off slides and barrels. them barrels BE SMOKIN! |

Thar's what I mean. How will you react to the noise that you are not accustomed to? Or does the adrenaline overcome the shock to your eardrums? Maybe some shots should be done in an indoor range without protection?

Regular combat-caliber handguns might be ok, but using rifles indoors with no ear protection is just too dangeous. You can only take a certain number of those before you really start to lose your hearing. I imagine cops have to pass some kind of physical every so often and it's not a job you can with poor hearing. If you're in a real gunplay situation, then noise and hearing samage are the least of your problems. But if you don't absolutely have to do it, I don't think anyone should.

OJU...target qual for AZ CCW is 5 rounds at 15 feet and 5 at 30.
100% can be achieved by a blind chimp with the DT's. Some of the grandmothers in my class got that. Why on earth is that SCUBA dude pointing a loaded weapon at a dog?

do you realize of ALL the investments i have EVER MADE IN MY FREEKING LIFE................ that stoopid ass HK-94 has increased in value better than any stock or land i have purchased! goofy huh? everyjuan wants it as a platform for an MP-5 or some goofy ass variant class III. |
