You changed the stairs from the spirial to regular ones? Are you enclosing the upstairs loft?

I am not sure what part of town you are in but there used to be a plumbing supply shop near Hobby Airport that had new old stock in a back room upstairs. I bought some replacement fixtures from them before for dirt cheap (periwinkle blue). If you were heading out the main entrance to Hobby and just went straight through the traffic light one or two blocks (I cannot remember) you would then turn left and go about six or eight blocks and they were on the left (south) side of the road. I cannot remember their name, but they were in the yellow pages! Good people, I'm sure they are most likely still there.

Used to live in a house with a circular staircase. Learned to hate it after a very short time. The girls like it for a while then most feel the same.

I had spiral stairs in San Diego, on three levels, for 3 years. They never bothered me.

My house also had a spiral staircase, when we renovated it a couple of years ago it was the first thing to get the boot.
Hated it.

We are making progress. The builder says about a month to go. Sheetrock is done, electrical, plumbing and HVAC are complete as well. Still cant run the pool pump so I am contributing to the frog population boom with my backyard pond.
The cabinet maker is doing his thing now. Expect painters next week. Looking forward to the final. About 6 weeks ago. ![]() Stone overlay on chimney ![]() back of house with the new garage
