My new "not a real Porsche"

2001 911 Carrera 2, 6 speed, 60k. Freaking awesome car, it has all the characteristics that I loved about my '70 911T without any of the traits that made it horrible to live with. It came with Cargraphics mufflers and an Evolution Motorsports intake, under acceleration it sounds spectacular. Also has some sort of front strut brace and includes the OEM turbo twist wheels as well. Factory 030 sport package and Litronic lights are the two biggest options. No RMS drips, it runs and drives awesome. I'm going to miss this one when I sell it. Pics are from the PO, it needs a detail before I take any.

Jealous.

First I get the next house. Then I get a fast toy.

Nice car man.

I have been looking at 996 recently. As long as the mechanicals are sorted, they are a hell of a car for the money.

Why isn't it a real Porsche?

I like it. I like the headlights on that model a lot more than the newer ones.

nice. congrats.

One thing I like about my car is when I chime in with "it's 14 years old", people can't believe it.

Beautiful car. I have become very interested in the 996 lately. Please keep us posted on what it's like to live with on a daily basis.

I sold the Legacy GT about a month ago. You know me, I'm always looking for my next former car.

I went for an early morning drive and took it through a tunnel (yes Kansas does have tunnels). The sound is simply epic.

I'm looking forward to October. Can I be first in line?
I've seen these all over the map in price. With such low mileage, what'd you get it for?

I like it! However, I think you'll sell it before you sell the Land Cruiser.
