That's just sooo cool! I mean, as much cool as Steve McQueen!

Wow, the throttle linkage was solid bell crank and all. Very cool. I don't know if the sound of a 63cc twin with 2 1/2 valves would sound any other than awesome regardless of cams and compression.

What I do know is all the old time racers on 2 wheels and 4 were fearless pioneers.

That is all kinds of awesome. I love old bikes--exposed valvetrains, headers, etc. The "mechanicalness" of them really lifts my kilt.

I like the history he presents as well. I appreciate folks that take in the whole story of something like that. The Schwinn tie-in is great.

The Men that rode these were the real deal. No mega pay checks and No track girls!

No clutch or brakes... Damn dangerous. The stuff of legends.

Great video. Thanks...

How do you ride a bike with no clutch? e.g. do you just rev it up and pop forward off the kickstand to start the race?

You hit the compression release and start peddling down the road. Turn on the gas, choke it, then hit the ignition.

My home-made replica starts and runs the same way. Very cool way to ride.
