Wow, the throttle linkage was solid bell crank and all. Very cool. I don't know if the sound of a 63cc twin with 2 1/2 valves would sound any other than awesome regardless of cams and compression.
What I do know is all the old time racers on 2 wheels and 4 were fearless pioneers. |

That is all kinds of awesome. I love old bikes--exposed valvetrains, headers, etc. The "mechanicalness" of them really lifts my kilt.

How do you ride a bike with no clutch? e.g. do you just rev it up and pop forward off the kickstand to start the race?

You hit the compression release and start peddling down the road. Turn on the gas, choke it, then hit the ignition.
