ALMS Coverage on CBS today

got around to watching the dvr'd Laguna Seca race from last week on tape delay this evening. what did you guys think of the coverage if you watched? kinda documentary like almost?? i guess if you are going to watch a 6 hour race in 1.5 hours it's not a bad way to go. a bit deeper with the teams & strategies behind the scene that is not afforded in a live broadcast. i don't know if i want to watch the whole season like that, but it was a cool change of pace for a delayed race. the additional production time makes it more uninformed friendly i reckon. getting the neck-car set up to speed maybe on right handers & multiple classes run together?

i also like all the time devoted to the GT class! i though p. long was going to get tagged for passing under yellow just before they went green for the last few laps. he seemed to be by the bmw before they went green down the front strait.

it might grow old, but for today it was fine.
