Here is a small quote from the article on Yahoo news about the latest shooting of a rock thrower. I thought the agents all used 9mm but maybe they are using 40S&W guns now?

"citizens" must file an appliction in quadruplicate to the agency along with a $500 processing fee in order to possess any rocks from now on. They must also submit to a background check, a mandatory waiting period and consent to 24/7/365 unannounced searches of their homes, businesses and vehicles for any unregistered or illegal rocks, which will carry enormous penalties and the possibility of jail time.

I carry a 40 cal Glock. model 23 with night sights. I hope I never have to use it. I prefer 45 ACP but the light weight of the Glock has me leaving the 1911 at home.

If you're dead set on shooting yourself with a Glock, they do make them in .45 ACP as well.

1) a rock is a deadly weapon

2) use of force IS authorized

3) being a border patrol officer aint fun

4) they are not paying ICE officers enough to risk their lives 24/7/365

5) a study was done by the border patrol comparing the velocity of a rock thrown and the velocity of a low powered 9mm. they are equal upon the skull. they are BOTH lethal.



now lets see how many more rock throwers get dusted, before they figure this out that throwing rocks at border patrol is a very BAD IDEA!

When I was trying to decide on caliber, I did some research and the concensus from what I found was that .40 S&W penetrates better than .45 ACP
