Guinness (guess I'd better clarify) GUINNESS EXTRA STOUT, Young's Double Chocolate Stout are the main two that I drink.
I don't like the bottled or canned Guinness Draught. Guinness on tap is good, but the fake draft in the bottle, yuck. Extra Stout all the way! Last edited by masraum; 06-28-2010 at 09:08 AM.. |

What do I drink...or what do I pay for?
I drink them all, not many that I will spit out. I have Killian's Red & Miller Lite in the fridge.

Used to be they had tasting at the Anchor Steam brewery, all you could drink. If you took the tour, you could get a keg for half price. Have not had any St Arnold or Celis since I lived down there in Texas. But when i lived down there, did not drink any Sierra Nevada, so it sort of evened out.

St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, Elora Special Bitters, Mill Street Porter, Old Credit Amber... actually, this list goes on...and on... and on... Canadian Microbreweries mostly.

I'm not too picky. Anthing cold really. Love authentic Hefeweizens and Saison/Farmhouse ales or anything with a lot of wheat and yeast taste. Not a big fan of the super dark microbrews like some from Sierra Nevada.
Just had this for the first time in Boston. Didn't know what to expect but it looked good and it was awesome. Very wheaty with only the slightest hint of fruit. Hit the spot. Last edited by tangerine911S; 06-28-2010 at 10:52 AM.. |
