Another bad Bp photoshop job
disgusting
BP Photoshops Another Official Image Terribly Don't know if these will show up or not...  The first thing you might notice out of place is the looming air traffic control tower in the upper left hand side of the photo:    And last, while the helicopter clearly appears to be situated at some height above the boats ahead, the readouts on the dash appear to indicate that that door and ramp are open and the parking brake engaged, not to mention that the pilot appears to be holding a pre-flight checklist:  And so on. As one reader pointed out, the tower may in fact be an oil rig adjacent to a helipad (which would also explain why the pilots are in prep mode), but the photo's still clearly been doctored. Badly.

I mean if BP had a real shot from one of their many copters in the area would that make everything okay?

Why wouldn't they just take a picture from a real helo instead of photoshopping one?
It would be more credible,in my opinion. How easy is it to manipulate video in the same manner? |

For once I have to agree with Island... I'm not sure why anyone cares about these images - photoshopped or not. They seem to me like just another red herring.

What concerns me is in the original photo, the pilot still has his fingers crossed.
  Anyway, I don't see the point in why BP feels it has to do this. If anything, the incident seems somewhat isolated from a world view. Why? At our hotel in Rome last week, BP had a big BP-Italia conference and lunch. No camera crews were outside, no protesters, nothing like that.
