I also nominate it for the worst movie ever made starring the worst actor and worst actress, ever.

You never saw "The Piano". Awful movie. Full frontal nudity with Harvey Keitel. It looked like a button on a fur coat. I still have nightmares.

you WILL CRY (ok well you might)!

My Life (1993) - starring Michael Keaton and Nichole Kidmann.

Wanting his unborn child to know his father in some way, a dying man makes videotapes of his life.

Falling Down.

Blue Velvet...needed a shower after that one.

Lorenzo's Oil.

It was so depressing I wanted to get up and leave. Wife said no.

Eraser Head is an exercise in depression, some shocking impressions and not much more even though fans of the film tout it's message about the consequences of irresponsible sex.
Owning a copy of Eraser Head would be tantamount to a subscription to the New York Times.
Hours of dismal delusion dressed up as day to day existence.

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll pass.

The Human Centipede.

That is the only movie that has made me physically ill.

Previously, my least favorite movie was Irreversible.

jacob's ladder

Godzilla. Those heartless Japanese killed off an endangered species.

The Diving Bell and The Butterfly.

Brian's Song

Days of Wine and Roses

Of Mice and Men

Wit (with Emma Thompson - probably the saddest movie I have ever seen in my life)

More depressing because you are literally watching a bright, rising star's career die before your eyes.

Eyes Wide Shut - Depressing movie plus you are literally watching a marriage die on screen.

War of the Worlds - another from Tom Cruise

American Psycho

Seriously? One of MD's best, I'm an unconditional fan. Didn't make me feel bad at all.

The Others left me feeling pretty bad.

I just watched the trailer on YT, that's some seriously messed-up stuff.

Buffalo '66.

The movie itself is neither bad nor good, but -
Jan-Michael Vincent has a cameo of a bowling alley clerk. He basically plays himself, which is to say, a burned out junkie.

Which reminds me of a movie I just watched called "The Fan" with Patton Oswald. A bleak look at a losers life.
