The indian hit man/serial killer in that movie can lay claim to having the single most badazz hitman weapon of all time- a silenced remington 1100 semi auto shotgun. I LOVED that movie, but yes, it was dark. Edit to add: The sexy lady sitting on my lap says "What's eating Gilbert Grape" with Leo DiCaprio is, "the most depressing movie ever made." |
Irreversible. I needed a shower after that one.
|
Dances with Wolves.. when the wolf got shot and died slowly.
Cold Mountain.... pretty much everything but the beginning. |
I enjoyed "Falling Down" too. Who DOESN'T want to commit mayhem and destruction during their commute?
|
We are marshall......great flick though....
Lost in translation.....for wanting something he can't have..... And +1 for I am legend, I have never watched it past when the dog dies after seeing it the first time.... |

What was that one that Brad Pitt was in where his girl friend (wife?) got shot in some foreign country? MAN was that depressing. I think the common thread was suffering
|
Okay, I have to admit that I liked Falling Down. Stuf we've all wanted to do, such as the commuting mayhem, and the scene in the fast food joint. I just didn't think he'd take it so far as to get himself shot down at the end. So, that was kind of a "feel bad" ending.
For pure depressing, how about Midnight Express? |

The Elephant Man.
|
Saving Private Ryan, I remember walking out of the theater feeling emotionally shell shocked. The most draining movie I''ve ever seen in the theater.
|
Man on Fire. Lots of emotion, so well acted.
|
Any recent Lindsey Lohan movie... Bad.. Very Bad...
Especially that one with Jane the skank as her Grandmother.. Im not going to even use my available bandwidth to look up the title.. |

8mm starring Nicholas Cage. He is a private investigator hired by a wealthy widow to determine whether a snuff film she found in her deceased husband's safe was real.
Made me feel like a scumbag just for watching it. If you haven't seen it, don't. |
