Schindlers List?

vash 07-22-2010 06:37 AM

good one! or is that bad one?

legion 07-22-2010 06:40 AM

Leaving Las Vegas.

I also nominate it for the worst movie ever made starring the worst actor and worst actress, ever.

(That said, I think Nick Cage is a pretty cool guy when not acting.)

dhrcr911s 07-22-2010 06:41 AM

Electra Glide in Blue

legion 07-22-2010 06:43 AM

jcommin 07-22-2010 06:53 AM

I'm with Legion : Leaving Las Vegas. A depressing movie.

Turbo_pro 07-22-2010 06:57 AM

Less Than Zero
Robert Downey Jr. as a drug addict. Now there's a stretch....

The Inconvenient Nonsense (you know Al's movie)
Gloom and doom with no basis in reality (suspension of disbelief was impossible)
Not to belabor the issue but how many of you guys bought the sound track?
I'm just kidding, it's free because no one bought it.

Eraser Head
The future of the socialist movement...........

Feel Bad Movie

Ultimate feel bad....."On the Beach" world is killed by radiation from nuke world war.

scottmandue 07-22-2010 07:03 AM

Precious, the movie about the obese teenage black girl.

It got such great reviews we rented it.

Abused at school, physical and verbally abused by mom, raped by dad, two children by dad... and the big uplifting finish... gets AIDS from dad.

Yay!

So bad I got up half way through and emptied the dishwasher.

bivenator 07-22-2010 07:08 AM

old yeller, where the red fern grows. Watched both in elementary school, had to fight for my life at recess when the lights came up after the movie was over and I had tears streaming down my cheeks. "I'll show you crybaby m****fu**" was the battlecry that afternoon.

Groesbeck Hurricane 07-22-2010 07:17 AM

The Razor's Edge starring Billy Murray Good movie, just not the most uplifting you will ever see.

flatbutt 07-22-2010 07:22 AM

Any of the recent batch of terrorist/ anti-terrorist based movies. All of that " man's inhumanity" regardless of which side is the antagonist is very depressing.

But No country for old men wasn't happy happy joy joy either.

legion 07-22-2010 07:25 AM

Kids.

The only movie I got up from halfway through at the theater and walked out on. There was nothing redeeming about the movie.

Showgirls.

More depressing because you are literally watching a bright, rising star's career die before your eyes.

I actually thought this was a brilliant film that absolutely nailed the subject of alcoholism.

If you're interested, I have the limited edition gold DVD of that film signed by David Lynch.

x 2.

That movie made me feel really bad. Not a typical "Hollywood" ending to say the least.

I have it on DVD but I don't think I'll ever watch it again. :(
