Help me fix my blender!
It's an Oster In2itive.
We tried to run it, must have been piece of ice jammed in it, it tried to start up and jammed and died instantly. I've read up on it ,and there is apparently a fuse in it somewhere. It seems like that fuse blew. Prob is, I don't see anything that looks like a fuse. Take a look, is there a fuse there? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I see the problem. You have the 12 blade fan. You need the 14 blade fan for better cooling.

(disclaimer: the following opinions shoud probably be filed in the round file).
Don't think the motor runs on 110V, so there's probably a reduction transformer in there. Black box?. Mabye it, or the fuse, is under the top board. The Mfgr or Radio Shack might be able to order it with correct specs. If there's a bump in the wire there could be a fuseable link. |

you might want to pull the board and look on the underside.
Or get a Waring ![]() |

Me thinks that some of you jokers need to stick your head in a blender!

The black box is a power relay that turns the motor on. Don't see a fuse in there. . . . .

There is no fuse visible. The black box is probably a relay as Gogar pointed out. Without a wiring diagram, all you can do is poke around with a voltage meter but success is doubtful . . . Ian

I have seen fuses that look like diodes
Have you tried the blender forum?

There appears to be another/secret board under the first. I would take a look there as well.
