Talking OT- Help Name my Baby

I hope this doesn't get moved but it probably will.

Well my wife and I are 8 weeks away from our first baby, we haven't decided on amy names yet.
We don't know if it is a boy or girl.
We DO NOT want ordinary but not to weird either.
So far we have
Gage for Boy, and ;

Teigan or Brynly for a girl

Any other great ideas, I really value your input on the other important parts of my life (Porsche) so why not here too.

Please help. Last name is Davis

Shawn and Heidi

I suppose it's not OT if we're talk'n Portia's here.

There is Portia de Rossi from Ally McBeal and some hair product comercials

So if your wife looks like this Portia, and if it is a girl then take tmctguers advice and name her Betty.

Boy or Girl: Fuchs Davis, pronounced correctly as Fooks(like books). That way either can be a "fox" and the name added to your last name is both strong and memorable! And , of course, unique.

Kevin, I didn't mean anything about your friend, just making an observation. I have met a couple Portia's over the years, but never a "Porsche". Is her name really spelled like that? If so, is there a story behind it?

Shawn & Heidi, Go rent "She's Having a Baby" and stick around for the closing credits. Lots of good suggestions, and a pretty funny movie.

Congrats on the coming family member,

Tom

Hey Congrats Shawn! ...again.
Anyway,... I have always loved the name Mercedes for a girl, even though I know it is kind of latino sounding and may not go wel with "Pate" or "Davis". But I like it all the same.

here are a few that I like:

boy

Leland
Layland
Elian ... ok just kidding
Wailen or Waylen ....wait, never mind... "Davis"...
Paul
Eric
Oliver
Cobin
Wes

girl
Ashley
Brook
Portia ...serious, i like it.
Bethany
Autumn
Rosie
spoiled brat that pisses on everything

congrats!
I'm envious!

How about

E. Cameron Davis?

The E could be Erin, Eric, Erica, Edward, etc etc...or maybe

S. Cameron Davis

The S could be Shawn, Sally, Sylvie, Shannon, Samuel etc...

Just forget about T , as nobody seems to want them!
(unless you had Twin Cam's)

I always liked that name CAM, or even Cammie. And its good either way, boy or girl. It's no wonder I have not seen you on here as much.

All the best you two...errr three!

I don't know why but I find myself to be partial to the name Kelly. Kelly Davis sounds like a heartbreaker, girl next door type.

I guess it works both ways and you could tell them they were named for a brilliant engineer. Think SR71

Congrats on expanding the pool of Porsche enthuiasts

Reg that is good "S CAM" I like it...too bad we already have 2 Camerons in the Family.

I know about the Porsche theme I keep trying to think of something related to but nothing I love.

This is a hard decision!!!!!

Thanks guys
