If you like the Porsche theme, maybe -

Boy - Alwin, Norbert, Hurley

Girl - Louise (Piech)

Or, something that would fit either way -

Jackie (Ickx) or Jo (Hoppen)

PRIZE

GOOD IDEA

If I choose one of the names from the board, the prize will go to whoever mentioned it first. The prize will be;

A custom made Pottery Coffee Mug that I had made with the Porsche crest on it. These are very nice and I had them made specially for me by a local potter. I have a few and there are some people on this board who are going to be getting one anyways. That is the reason I had them made in the first place. Sort of Thank-you's.

So whoever uses the name i pick gets one too. But don't just start listing names to get one-that will make your entry void!

Thanks again guys

Shawn

After seeing stray15's post, I think Carrera would be an awesome name for a girl.

Just a crazy thought. How about getting a list of the 9-11-01 terroist attack victims? Choose the name from that long, much too long, list?

That's a great idea to commemorate the lives lost.

When picking a name for a kid remember to take into consideration if the name will be likely to get the kid teased in school. What might seem a great name in the parents opinion might cause hell to the poor kid as soon as he/she starts school.

I know I'm spoiling the fun here, but I have a point I think.

Pattie=Fattie
Nick=Di**
etc. (you get the point)

Heh heh I didn't get teased either, but sometimes I took part in teasing others - it's quite fun when you're 10 years old.

Don't forget that the kid is going to have to live with the name through school so think twice before you label them with anything too strange. Maybe a funny middle name would be good for future kid control?

On a Porsche theme Portia or Carrera would be great for a girl, and Oscar for a first born boy. (OK, how many out there know why Oscar for a boy?)

No, not because it would be silly for a girl!
